Basically based off on my boy Gillion being lowkey anxious and having a bunch of self-doubt,,? idk man I think its a fun lil concept sheidhdj

Gillion Tidestrider. A supposed hero. A strong and brave warrior. Gillion Tidestrider, who was sitting on a bed in the lower parts of the ship in his room. Alone. Well, alone with Pretzel... Earlier today, Gill had asked to train with Chip. Training was a very important part of Gill's life, so he usually trained on his own, but he had figured it'd be better to test his skills against someone. When they were training, Gill had been a bit slower to react and a bit weaker at his attacks than he did towards Chip, but he was able to doge easily. The training session ended with Chip "winning", despite Chip telling him that it's "just training, there are no winners, s'just practice Gill!". That didn't seem to lessen the disappointment that Gill felt towards himself. Which led the triton to his current situation. Sitting with his head in his hands opposite Pretzel, whose glass bowl was sitting on a barrel in front of him.

"I don't understand, Pretzel...I thought I had grown in my skills within battle and training...But apparently not." He glanced up at Pretzel, who was as close as she could be to the front of her bowl, despite not talking, seemingly trying her best to comfort her friend. Gillion gave a weak smile towards Pretzel, shaking his head, "I am okay, Pretzel. I... just need to train more, that is all. That is what has always helped me before. So that is what I must do..." Gillion nodded and let out a shaky sigh, now just taking notice that he was shaking the whole time.

"Jay I'm serious, I haven't done anything to Gill!" Chip groaned and sighed, continuing to mop the deck as Jay stood and spoke to him. "I told you, he wanted to train or whatever, so we did. I mean, he was kind of weird at the end of the session, but Gill is always weird, y'know? So I didn't think much of it." Chip stopped cleaning; now just looking at Jay. "Why're you asking? Did he say something to you?" Jay sighed softly and shook her head.

"Not...really? It was more the way he just seemed... It was like he was back in Loffinlot. You know when we were all affected and he was all sad? It's just like that, it's weird..." She frowned slightly, crossing her arms. "I walked past him and he just seemed off. Like he was tired or sad or... something. I'm just worried since it was a good... hour ago? And he hasn't come out since..." Jay looked behind her and then back to Chip.

A moment of silence passed before Chip let out a sigh and gave the mop to Jay. "Fine, fine I'll go check up on him. I'm sure he's just tired or something, but I'll go check up on him". Chip walked away from Jay, going down into the lower layers of the ship down to go find Gillion.

Chip looked around before heading towards Gill's room; he even looked inside of the barrels, which Gillion has been known to sleep in. Which, if Chip was being completely honest, still felt strange to him, but he guessed it made sense. He is a fish guy. Chip took a small breath before going to knock on Gillion's door, stopping himself when he heard a muffled voice, recognisably being Gillion's. "I am okay, Pretzel... I am fine. I-I just need to train more..! That's all. Yes. Training will help. It has always helped me in the past when I felt this way..." Before Chip could hear anything else, he leaned too far and ended up tripping over himself, falling but managing to catch himself on the doorframe. He looked up and saw Gillion jump at the sudden noise of the stumbling brunette and turn to face him.

"C-Chip? Chip what are you doing?" The triton sniffled a bit and wiped at his cheeks, plastering on a small smile. "Is there something I can help you with?" Gillion tilted his head slightly. Chip looked back at Gillion confused.
