//Riptide Campaign

ahaha I have so many stupid ideas but no idea how to write them ahahah

I've read through this sm and I'm still convinced I've spelt fifty things wrong,, ignore any mistakes or I'll combust- ((good endings are overrated anyways pls allow it pfft)

I got this brainrot from a quote generator :') I fear I hate this but I've spent too much time over it not to post it pfft

Here's the prompt::

*Gillion and Chip sitting in jail together*
Gillion: So who should we call?
Chip: I'd call Jay, but I feel safer in jail

So this and everything is the same except The Block arc went differently, Jay ended up staying with them. She gets in contact with Chip and Gill every now and then and gives them information she learns from being so high up from being a Ferin.

Her boys (<3) said they could handle snooping around with the schedule and blueprints she was able to give them but they got caught pfft.  can be read platonically or romantically (I did have FnC brainrot at the time)

If you don't give your bastard friends kisses on the head as they fall asleep, are they really your friend? yk? yk-

I like to imagine Gillion has sensory issues when it comes to being imprisoned and stuff

Also ohhh boy do I like trying to figure out Jay and Navy scenes- wowie I love this woman- she's so cool to write omg--

This was meant to be a quick job. Get in, sneak around a little, steal some extra plans the Navy had been working on and get out. Easy!

Well, theoretically. Chip never accounted for everything that could possibly go wrong actually going wrong. Sure, he probably should've considered making a contingency plan, but there wasn't time for that! Besides, it was only him and Gillion that'd be going in... Surely they would be more than capable to do that successfully!

But as Chip's face met the cold stone floor of a Navy prison cell, it became crystal clear as to how wrong he was. An accompanying thump beside him made the brunette look up, seeing the triton he had snuck in with hit the ground next to him, a pained groan affirming Chip's thought of how painful the landing had looked.

A solid slam of the door to the cell told Chip that he and Gill were alone, causing him to sit up and rub the side of his head to the best of his ability thanks to the handcuffs restricting his movement. Looking down beside him, he saw a mess of green curls covering his companion's face. "Gill? You okay, buddy? Here," Chip tried to move Gillion's hair out of his face, finally meeting eyes with the triton. "I uh- I didn't really...Sorry-" Chip knew his plan wasn't foolproof the second he made it up on the spot a few hours before this situation. The fact that he had made it up so suddenly probably should've suggested that it could be worked on.

Oops.

Gillion sat up, looking down at the cuffs binding his wrists together uncomfortably, shifting at the sensation. "Chip, and I say this out of love and respect, but I do not remember imprisonment playing a part in your plan." As he said this, Gillion narrowed his eyes at Chip, to which the brunette rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, Gill, no this clearly wasn't part of my fuckin' plan- look just... I-I'll figure somethin' out."

"The last time you said that-"

"I get it! Gods above you're so pissy."

Gillion scoffed and nodded slowly, "I do not like these constraints. They're uncomfortable and far too tight..." The annoyance faded in Gillion's tone as he looked down once again at his bound hands. Chip followed the gaze before understanding fully.
