-------

Chip had kept his distance for a while. It'd be a lot easier to do if he were on The Millennium Chipper, but he didn't get that luxury right now. He figured being in the Feywild made things like that a bit difficult. Admittedly, Chip had been a little conflicted, which typically made him distance himself until he figured whatever it was out that was troubling him. Something told him it wouldn't be as simple as the other times he's been troubled in the past. This time was objectively different.

It wouldn't surprise someone to hear that Chip was thinking about Edyn. The brunette found himself thinking about the triton a lot. Though as of recent events, his thoughts concerning Edyn had changed from admiration to suspicion.

At first Chip's decision to talk with Edyn had been out of complete self-interest. He could admit that. In his defence, Edyn Tidestrider was very pretty, and not to mention, she seemed like she knew how to take care of herself, someone who always had a plan, which was something Chip could appreciate. Though of course, it didn't matter how attractive or admirable a person she was, not after the strange interaction he had with her just a few hours ago. The shadowed and hidden appearance of a navy soldier, the secrecy Edyn held over what she was doing and who the soldier was. How Edyn had insisted on Chip not telling Gillion what he saw. He wasn't even really sure what he saw! He just wanted to make a better impression on a pretty fish girl! That couldn't be so bad, could it?!

"Chip! Were you listening?" Jay's voice disrupted Chip's spiralling. He had sat a little bit away from her, as the two of them had found a few benches around the fairground. Gillion was nowhere to be seen, having walked off pretty much as soon as the three met back up. Chip didn't exactly know what was going on with Gill, but he just assumed it was Pretzel-orientated.

"Uh- no, no I wasn't- what're you goin' on about?" Chip sighed, the chaos of his mind making any distractions from said chaos only more tiresome.

"We gotta find people for an improv show. To save Pretzel."

Chip groaned, his shoulders visibly slouching. "Dude, I-"

Before Chip was able to finish his complaint of how little time he had to do an improv show, a voice decided to come from nowhere and scare the ever-loving shit out of the poor man.

Gods he needs a break.

"Chip."

"GAH- GODS- FUCK- ...Wh-" Chip looked up to see Gillion wearing all black, his eyes noticeably darker by a shadow covering what should be dark blue eyes. The only thing out of place, excluding this entire ordeal, was the flower crown Gillion had on. It definitely didn't suit the new 'dark' look he had going on. But fashion wasn't the main focus. He really didn't have time to deal with Gillion's madness. And so he said this the only way he knew how.
