You guys are fucked up not telling me Jay and Gill's ship name was navyseal. You are all evil bastards and want my downfall /j

Why did I find this out when I was sad? Now I HAVE to make sappy shit with them.

WHAT A SHOCKER IM PROJECTING ONTO JAY :') Jay wakes up and feels shit. Doesn't wanna leave bed, tinkering doesn't give her any motivation and she's just feeling low. Gill notices and becomes so hellbent on making her day better.

Fluff ensues.

Can be platonic or romantic, whatever ya see em' :')  [After editing and adding more to this fic I fear I pushed it more to romantic bUT who doesn't love a bit of fluffy shit with Jay and Gill?]

I love when people give Jay the chance to step up as an older sibling figure to Gill, because yay? Its the cutest thing? But Jay also deserves an older sibling figure and Gillion would definitely become that in a heartbeat if he saw she needed it. I am abnormal about these two-

I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS GOOD OR NOT I JUST NEED IT OUT OF MY BRAIN- I ALSO HAVENT PROOF READ SO PLS FORGIVE ANY MISTAKES <3

TW// Nothing I can think of? But if there are, please lemme know <3

Jay stared up at the ceiling, eyes following the lines of boards from start to finish, counting how many nails there were. Raising an arm, she let her finger trace the lines that flowed through the planks above her. She was bored. She was so bored she started to take an interest in wood. But at the same time, getting up didn't sound very appealing. Her mind was static, other than wanting to get up, being bored, etc. Her body felt heavy, and even if she wanted to leave her bed (which she did, very much so), she wouldn't be able to. It was like an anchor had been dropped onto her, rendering her paralysed.

More thoughts came with the wish to get up for the day. Thoughts of tackling her hair, which had become a nest of knots, acting as if it were a red aura around her head. She didn't have the energy to deal with her hair. Didn't have the energy to change clothes. She just wanted to sleep the day away, in hopes tomorrow presented her with more motivation. But sleep didn't come to her.

And so she went back to staring up above her, following the lines in the wooden planks that made up the ceiling above her. She could hear muffled voices on the top deck, her crew were the loudest people she could've chosen to live with. She heard Chip, who she assumed was talking to Ollie, who in turn started running around, small thumps racing up and down above her. She heard Gryffon's gruff voice and the small thumps of Ollie's feet stopped abruptly where Gryffon's voice originated. She assumed the small boy bumped into the hunter.

Jay heard the faintest of music, which came as a pleasant surprise with an accompanying feeling of disappointment that it wasn't louder. She hadn't really spent much time with them, but Queen was very talented, despite their curse of not finishing songs and ballads.

What came as a small mystery, was the lack of a familiar voice, Gillion. As hard as she tried, Jay couldn't hear any trace of Gillion, who would normally be the first person on board to be heard.

"Jay..? Are you alright?"

Jay's mystery was solved, the shock of a voice in such close proximity making her jump and turn to face the owner of the voice. Gillion.

Gillion noticed Jay's surprise, raising his hands apologetically, a small smile on his lips, "I'm sorry! I did try to be a little less shocking- I didn't mean to scare you." Jay just shook her head, signalling to the triton that no harm had been done. He continued, "I'm glad. I just wanted to come and check on you... it is just turning midday. You haven't been up yet... Are you unwell? Hurt?" Gillion, amidst his interrogation, started to walk closer, kneeling down to become more eye-level with Jay.
