This is a request..! Which I'm still happy to take othersss ^^

So, all credit for the idea goes to Eggoboi34 ! :D

I've wanted to do something along the lines of this request, so I'm v excited to try this ;')

You know I'm always down for Gillion angst, especially when I can use the whole prophecy bit as angst too >:)

The prompt was trying my hand at Trans!Gillion? And personally, I see him (if he wasn't he/him) as nonbinary..? I think I made a nudge at that in an earlier fanfic, but yeah..! So I hope this is okay..! And you enjoy this chapterrr ^^;

((Also I had the opportunity to change Gill's name for this and fucking flew with it-

There's a God in 5e that made all tritons? And I thought it'd be really cute that they'd still relate to a triton so important to their traditions but it's their choice, yk? hhh idk ignore me jdjjdh))

TW// very hurt/comfort; dysphoria; (If there are any other things I should tag please tell me..! Be safe <3)

Gillion... felt weird.

He..? No.

Well, yes, of course "he" but...

Gillion had been feeling weird for a while. At first he- Gillion thought that it may have been some kind of illness, it wouldn't be that strange if it was the case, Gillion had been around the sick on the Crescent Moon, and maybe caught something? Or even a repercussion of the deal made with Niklaus?

But none of that felt right... Which was exactly the issue. Nothing had really been feeling right for a while now. Of course, Gillion trusted Jay and Chip, but until knowing for definite what was wrong, why bother friends over silly temporary things? It was temporary... It had to be temporary...

---

It had been a few days after Gillion came to the realisation of the weird feeling. So it was not in fact temporary. Gillion had suspicions, well no, that was a lie. Gillion knew what was wrong. But it wasn't allowed to be what was wrong. It can't be...

Knock, Knock.

"Hey, Gill? You okay..? You've been in there for a while now. Chip's starting to think you've gone crazy or something." Jay's voice was muffled from the other side of the locked door. Gillion had been here, sitting on the bed panicking for a while. Well, to be precise, around two hours? Between avoiding telling close friends and trying to fix... the issue that Gillion currently had was tiring, so the past two hours, this room was the only place that would do for the dilemma of the Triton. When there was no response, it was only fair that Jay would try again, this time with a bit more force.

"Hey, Gillion? You okay?"

Gillion just needed more time to figure out how to get rid of these feelings...

"Gillion! Okay, I'm coming in, screw this."

As Jay kicked the door down, she looked around before spotting Gillion silently sitting on the bed. As the two made eye contact, Jay watched as Gillion's posture finally shrunk, shaking. She made her way quickly next to him, grabbing his hands into her own. "Hey, hey hey. What's wrong? What's happened, Gillion..?" She watched as he quickly shook his head, tearing one hand from Jays as he wiped at his eyes furiously. Jay's brows furrowed, concern washing over her completely, but somehow, she feigned patience and calmness. "It's okay, just breathe... You don't have to talk now... Just try to calm down..."
