"N-No...No way you're dying on this shitty island. Not by some stupid random guy. C'mon, Gillion. Get up. On three, ready? One...Two..." Chip's countdown was interrupted by Gillion simply shaking his head. "I...w-well can't you...don't you have any healing magic stuff?? U-Use that!"

"I am u-unable, unfortunately. M-My magic seems to have r-run out...I spent the la-last of it on you, th-thankfully." Gillion somehow seemed to smile at the fact he used up his magic on healing Chip, who had been hurt quite badly during the unfair fight. This made Chip's blood boil. Not necessarily at Gillion, though this was who his anger was directed at.

"Wh-Why are you smiling about that?! You could've helped yourself!"

"Be-because I-I was able to aid y-you, Chip... I-I'd much rather this ha-happen to me than t-to you..." At that single weakly spoken sentence, Chip avoided any and all eye contact, his head falling, his gaze only on the ground as he continued to apply pressure to Gillion's stomach.
"I-I...I don't know how to help you, Gillion I don't...I don't know anything a-about medicine or...or anything I don't-" Chip's stomach sank as he finally let the reality of the situation sink in. "I-I...I can't lose anyone else, man, please..." Chip looked over, his heart sinking when he saw Gillion struggling to stay conscious, quickly pulling Gillion into his lap, weakly slapping his cheek. "No. You stop that shit, Gill. Stay awake, okay? I-I'll figure something out...Just keep awake, okay, man?" Chip looked around frantically, his breathing getting more uneven as the seconds passed. The dimly lit cobbled street was more or less casted in shadows, the lights lining the street being more or less useless. As Chip continued to look around for something, he noted a shadow of someone leaving their house.

"H-Hey! Hey you! Help! Please!" Thankfully, Chip's desperate shouts caught the attention of the stranger, they rushed over, not bothering to hide the gasp when they saw Gillion's condition. A few moments passed while the stranger looked through their belongings for anything that could help, speaking up when their search resulted in nothing of use.

"I-I know healing magic, it will at least stabilise him, but he will need extra sessions of healing magic to heal him any more than that..." Chip watched nervously as magic swirled around the strangers wrists, similar to the magic he's seen from Jay, their hands laying gently on top of Gillion's stomach. Nothing seemed to change drastically, but as soon as he was given the cue that the magic had finished taking its course, Chip got the stranger to assist him in standing the now barely conscious Gillion, the two practically dragging him to the tavern the pirate trio were staying at. Chip thanked the stranger repeatedly as they both made their way up the stairs of the tavern with Gillion, finding his room and getting the door open, laying Gillion down on the neatly made bed. "I-Is there anything else I can do to help, at all? I...I am happy to stay and continue healing your friend here with my magic or-"
"N-No, no I uh...I have a friend who has healing magic...it should be fine..." He let out a long anxious breath, something he had been holding for a while now. The stranger simply nodded and excused themself from the room, wishing the best of luck for Gillion's recovery as they left. Chip heard mumbling from outside the door before footsteps faded from the door, which was then quickly opened, a familiar voice speaking up from behind him.

"What the fuck, Chip. Stop messing around with random girls from these goddamn islands we visit, you're such a bastard-" Jay's sarcastic and tired remarks were cut off by seeing the unconscious and still very roughed up Gillion on the bed. She glanced to Chip seeing how worried he looked, "Wh...what happened to Gill..?" Chip simply shook his head, starting slowly before succumbing to his anxiety he had to repress for much longer than he should've. "W-Woah, Chip i-it's okay! Hey..." She frowned softly, grabbing a hold of Chip before he could fall to the ground, instead being held by Jay, leaning against her as he started to hyperventilate. Jay rubbed circles into his back, sighing softly and muttering small reassurances. The two stayed like this, after 10 minutes or so Chip had managed to calm down, at least to the point where he was able to stand on his own and breath much more steadier than before.
