Ghostface (DBD) x Reader

"Say cheese, Danny!"

A flash and a click went off making Danny squint in surprise from the sudden light invading his eyes. "C'mon why do you keep taking photos of me, Sunshine?" Danny laughed as he took his eyes off the road for a second to eye your smiling form as you looked at the camera in your hands. Love shone behind your eyes as you looked at the image of the rugged man you so adored.

"I can't help it. I wanna remember every moment we share forever."

You looked back to him meeting his eyes, "I know!" you turned around holding up the camera before lifting a hand to rest against your cheek, you stuck your tongue out just as another flash went off.

"Here!" you showed Danny the photo and he couldn't help but let his own smile creep on his face as he rolled his eyes.

"Give me that you idiot." Danny took the camera from your hands before setting it off somewhere and interlacing your hand with his.

It was dark and fog swirled around Ghostface's feet, sticks cracked under his boots.

Clink-

Ghostface paused in his walking as he looked down to see a small camera sticking out from his black boot. The man bent over picking up the small machine before turning it on.

Ghostface clenched his jaw behind his mask as he stared at your smiling face.

"Idiot" he mumbled as he put the camera in his pocket before continuing his trek through the seemingly infinite woods. Never has the darkness he consumed himself in seemed so lonely.

The camera in his pocket felt like lead dragging him down, slowing him down in his merciless path filled with pain and bloodshed but Ghostface wouldn't shed himself of the extra weight for anything.
