[Kai's Pov]

Anthony has been gone for the whole lunch now. I think he just wanted to get away from me. Figures I'm not surprised. I can tell he is secretly sick of me.

What did I do wrong this time? We all got told to go back to the lesson now. Still no sign of Anthony. He's probably got secret cigarettes that he's smoking right now in his secret way.

I sighed as I walked to maths. Hopefully, he will give me an answer at the end of the day.

Speak of the devil...I saw him come up behind me. He looks different but I can't put my finger on it.

"Where have you been?" I asked calmly trying to things go south.

"Just shut up. It's none of your god damn business. Let's just do this lesson already" He distanced himself as his voice sounded crooked.

Did something happen in the toilets?

I know something is up now. He hasn't been talking to me since that encounter. I need to speak to Bexey about this. She knows Anthony like the back of her hand. Maybe he's just having an off day but...he's usually never like this. If I knew him better I could probably help...

He also didn't wait for me or anything. Just left as soon as the bell rung after form. I'm just so glad Sammy is off my back now though, I still think about that.

Time to go back to a great environment aka my home. (It's sarcasm.)

[Anthony's Pov]

I threw my bag down as I ran upstairs, slamming the door and locking it for privacy. Figures. A fucking human threatens me. A friend as well.

I'm going to get questioned about my behaviour. I landed on my bed as I grabbed my pillows; screamed.

My tears piled up as I shut them down. I've had enough crying for today. No fucking more! It's a pain!

Fuck it. I'll smoke outside of school and go out. My parents will let me.

I heard footsteps as I went to go unlock the door.

Great my mum at least it isn't my dad. Both of them are asses but my mum is a bit better. She opened the door as she looked at me.

"Anthony, what's wrong dear? I and your dad heard loud footsteps that didn't sound happy. How's your plan with the human Kai? Is that what you are mad about? Are you failing?" I shook my head as I went to sit on my bed my mother following along as she just stood up.

"No mum. It's just...somethings on my mind that's all. I can't tell you. You and dad would flip out" Damn it! Now she would definitely wanna know why I'm in this mood.

My mum nodded as she puts a hand on my shoulder. "So you don't want to tell me but Anthony it would be better if you did. What could it possibly be that would make me; your dad furious?" I moved her hand away as I laid down on my bed.

"This would just make you mad alright. It's better if I didn't say anything. I'll be down soon as well if you started tea"

I sighed as she got up and left my room leaving the door slightly open.

I cursed to myself as I used my fire to close it. (Tried not to burn to my door.)

What a shit day...

[Kai's Pov]

I slid my clothes off as I felt the temperature of the bath, warm exactly how I like my baths. I looked down at the scars that I've had throughout the years. Sammy not gonna be a threat anymore. No more memories no more symbols of him beating me up and giving me these horrible fucking scars. I grabbed my shirt and threw it down as I put it back on leaving the rest of my body naked.

I can't look at them today. My legs aren't as bad but they still do have scars. My stomach as well but my arms are the worse for them. It took a couple of days for each one to form.

I smiled to myself as I felt safe. Maybe Anthony isn't bad as I thought. Maybe I did judge him too hard. He accepts me now.

Bexey is gonna be happy when she comes back when she hears Anthony defending me against Sammy.

I relaxed into the water as I grabbed the soup, rubbing everywhere. I sighed as I decide to be brave and take my shirt off. I need to get clean anyway and I need to stop being a baby.

I'll wash my hair in a minute.

I hope as well Anthony took my threat seriously because I'm sticking to my word of telling Bexey if I catch him smoking.
