I don't know why... but for some odd reason, I can hear Y/N's voice. She's yelling that she hates me... and the thought of it hurts my heart. Y/N...

I'm so sorry...

-This Is Bad-

Y/N P.O.V

I just sit on the ground, with my back leaning on a rock. I stare at the sky above us in silence as the cloud drifted by. The boys and Toph is still going around the town doing scams here and there. But I just stay silent, because I don't wanna get blamed again.

I can hear footsteps. I turn my head to see the boys and Toph. They each carries a bunch of items in each of their arms. I move to sit straighter as I stare at all of them.

"Guys, I think these scams have gone far enough. If you keep doing them, something bad is gonna happen" Katara said. She looks worried. "Could you for once stop being such a sourpuss and just lighten up?" Toph said. She tosses a bag of money towards Katara.

"Oh, I'm sorry! You think I should be more like you? Like some wild child?" She said, angrily. She toss the money back at Toph. "Yeah! Maybe! Maybe then you'd see how great we have it! I mean, look at us!We're traveling around the world! Making easy money! Having fun! With no parents to tell us what to do" Toph said.

"Ah. I see. You're acting like this because of your parents" Katara said. I let out a sigh and move to stand up. "Stop talking..." I said. She turns to look at me. "Or what? What are you going to do with it?" She said. I glare angrily at her.

"You're crossing the line, Katara... and you KNOW it. Why'd you bring up her parents into this argument? Are you out of topics, huh? You don't seem out of it when you're arguing with me! Always seem to know what to say, not caring if you hurt our feelings!" I said.

"Are you guys still on a fight?" Sokka said. I roll my eyes at what he said. I turn to look at him. "What do you think?" I said, staring at him coldly. He gulps and stays silent. I grab my dual swords and walks off.

***

I'm practicing my dual swords movement. I'm not so sure what they'll do against a bender. I'd get hit by their bending before I could even have a chance to land a hit on them.

I place my dual swords down on the ground. I stare at my hand and take a deep breath. I make a move of an air-bender, trying to bend some air. I outstretch my hand, but nothing happens.

I let out a sigh and sit down on the ground. I hear the sound of footsteps coming closer to me. But I just ignore it and keep my head down.

"Y/N..." the person said. I lift my head and turn my head to see Sokka. "What?" I asked. He moves to sit down next to me. "Look... I know that you're upset with my sister. But trust me... she just meant well. If you're worried about your bending than you've got nothing to worry about..." he said. I let out a sigh and turn my head away from him.

"It's easy for you, Sokka... you were born without it. So you're used to it. Me? I'm born a bender. Losing it was like losing who I am. Do you remember how you feel when you lost your boomerang?" I said. His eyes soften as he nods his head.

"Yeah... I feel lost and I feel like I've lost a part of me" he said. I nod my head at what he said. "Then you should know what I feel... you can just buy a new weapon. Like right now, you have your sword. But I can't just replace it. It's within me..." I said, placing a hand on my chest.

"Not physical... it's not something that we could just replace whenever we felt like it" I said, gesturing at my sword. Sokka nods his head in understanding. I just sigh and hugs my knees.

"And the fact that... Avatar Roku warned me and my brother that we should be working together to stop this war just makes it worse. I feel useless..." I said. I feel an arm gently draped around my shoulder.

"Yeah.. you had it harder than I am..." he said. I just give him a weak smile. "I knew you'd understand..." I said. He just chuckles and ruffles my hair.

"Hey. I'm about to head back to town. Do you want to come?" He said. "What are you gonna do? 'Cause I don't want your sister to start blaming me on stuff again..." I said. "Oh... I'm not scamming. I just want to spend some money. So, you coming?" He said. I just smile and nod my head. He stands up and offers his hand to me. We start heading to town.

Time-skip

Sokka ended up taking me to a pet shop. He said he wants to buy a hawk. "Hawky, welcome to Team Avatar. My name's Sokka, and I'm your new owner, and as such I should warn you that there's already two lemurs in our group, so I don't wanna see any fighting. Good little messenger hawky. Who's got pretty feathers?" he said. He's talking to the hawk as if the hawk is a baby. I let out a giggle at his action.

I turn my head and notice something on the wall. My eyes widened when I realize what it is. "Uh, Sokka..." I said. He stops walking and turns to look at me. I lift my hand and gesture him to come over.

"What? What is it, Y/N?" He said. I just point at the wall. He turns his head to look at where I'm pointing at. I stare at him with a worried look. Hawky let out a screech.

"You're right, Hawky... this is bad..." he said. Sokka snatched the poster from the wall. We quickly head back to our campsite to warn her and the others.

This is so bad... it's a wanted poster of Toph. I should have stopped them when they first attempt to scam that scammer. Katara was right... I should have listen and be more responsible. Oh Spirit! What the bell is wrong with me now?!
