I have doubt in my heart. That's what's been holding me back. Now that I think about it. I've always doubt myself that I'm able to do it. That I'm able to protect my brother and restore peace to the world. I always think that I'm not enough. So that's why I have been struggling to get things right. So in order to awaken my true nature... I have to accept who I am.

-Where Are We?-

Y/N P.O.V

I've been laying in the same spot for who knows how long. I let out a sigh as I sit up. I move to get up from the floor and outstretched my hands above my head. I place my hands on my hips.

'I guess... there's no use in dwelling over this kind of. I just need to do what my parents said. Accept who I am, to unleash the true power' I thought to myself. I let out a huffed and hit my forehead. Just how in the world am I suppose to do that??

I shake my head and turn around, making my way out of the room. I decided to just hang around the others, to get my mind off of it for a bit. I'll figure something out... I'm sure I will.

Everyone are having some meals. I turn my head and notice Aang distancing himself from the others. I frown as I notice the troubled look on his face. I let out a sigh, knowing he's still thinking about today's training.

"Aang..." I said, placing a hand on his shoulder. He jumps as if he didn't expect me to be here. He turns to look at me and gives me a small smile.

"Oh, hey, sis..." he said. I smile softly at him and take a seat next to him. "Hey, Aang. What's bothering you? Still thinking about what happened earlier?" I asked. He let out a sigh and nods his head. I nod my head, knowing what he's feeling because it bothers me too.

"I have a surprise for everyone!" Katara suddenly said. I turn my head to look at her. She's holding a scroll in her hand. I raise an eyebrow as I eyed it curiously.

"I knew it! You did have a secret thing with Haru!" Toph suddenly said. I turn to look at her. "What?" I said. While the others just eyed her with weird looks. Katara blinks her eyes at what she said.

"Uh, no. I was looking for cooking pots in the attic, and I found this!" She said. She unrolls the scroll and shows it to us. It's a portrait of a baby boy. "Look at baby Zuko. Isn't he cute?" She said, which makes everyone laughs aside from Zuko.

Katara stops laughing and turns to look at Zuko. "Oh, lighten up. I'm just teasing" she said. Zuko shakes his head at what she said. "That's not me. It's my father" he said. Katara blinks her eyes in surprise at Zuko's revelation.

"But he looks so sweet and innocent" she said, while rolling up the scroll. I let out a sigh and shrugs my shoulders. "Well... looks can be deceiving" I said. I move to sit next to Zuko. He instantly wraps an arm around my shoulder. I lean my head on his.

"Y/N's right. That sweet little kid grew up to be a monster, and the worst father in the history of fathers" he said. I frown at what he said. Zuko have been through so much hardship because of his dad. He longed for his father to love him, only to keep being neglected.

I grab Zuko's free hand and start to play with his fingers, knowing it can calm him down. I feel a soft kiss on the side of my head. I pull away slightly to look at him, giving him a soft smile. He smiles back and leans down to place a soft kiss on my lips. I just close my eyes, kissing him back.

"But he's still a human being" Aang said, making the two of us pull away. Zuko turns to him. "You're going to defend him?" He said. Aang shakes his head at the question.

"No, I agree with you. Fire Lord Ozai is a horrible person, and the world would probably be better off without him, but there's got to be another way" he said. I let out a sigh and looks down.

"Like what?" Zuko said. I turn my head to look at Aang, curious to what he wants to say. "I don't know..." he said. He seem to be thinking about it, and perks up when he gets an idea.

"Maybe we can make some big pots of glue, and then I can use gluebending to stick his arms and legs together so he can't bend anymore" he said, with enthusiasm. Zuko rolls his eyes at my brother's idea.

"Yeah, then you can show him his baby pictures, and all those happy memories will make him good again" Zuko said, sarcastically. I can hear Sokka and Suki laughing. I turn my head to look at the two of them. I shake my head and turn to look at Aang who seems like he believed Zuko meant what he said.

"Do you really think that would work?" He said. I let out a sigh as Zuko turns to look at me with 'are you both really related' look. I just shrugs my shoulders. He rolls his eyes and turns to look at Aang who still looks excited.

"No!" He said, bluntly. Aang let out a sigh and pace back and forth. "This goes against everything Y/N and I learned from the monks" he said. I nod my head at what he said.

"I agree with him. We can't just go around wiping out people I don't like" I said. Sokka turns to look at me. "Sure you can. You're the Avatar. Y/N's the Spyrth... if it's in the name of keeping balance, I'm pretty sure the universe will forgive you" he said. I scoff at what he said, while Aang looks angry.

"This isn't a joke, Sokka! None of you understand the position we're in" he said. I nod my head and stands up, glaring at Sokka. "The pressure of the thought that Aang and I have to take someone's life! It's hard okay!" I said, feeling anger building up within me.

"Aang, Y/N, we do understand. It's just..." Katara said, but she didn't finish her sentence. Aang turns to look at her. "Just what, Katara? What?" He said. Katara looks offended by the way Aang's reacting.

"We're trying to help!" She said. I place my hands on my hips. "Then, when you figure out a way for me to beat the Fire Lord without taking his life, do let us know!" I said. Aang nods his head in agreement at what I said.

"We'd love to hear it! Come on, sis" He said. I turn around and walks away, following Aang. "Aang, Y/N, don't walk away from this" she said. We just ignore her and keeps walking.

Aang and I ended up at the porch. The two of us said nothing as we meditate, trying to clear our minds. I let out a sigh when I failed to concentrate. I turn to look at Aang who seems to have the same difficulty.

I hear chirping. I turn my head to see Momo and l/n. l/n lands near me and crawls on my lap. Momo near Aang. I gently pat her head, as she sleeps on my lap.

Aang gently pat his head. "Hey, Momo. I don't suppose you know what I should do" he said. Momo let out a squawks. "I didn't think so" he added. I let out a sigh and gently move l/n from my lap. I lay on the floor as Aang do the same. I close my eyes and let myself drift off to sleep.

When I open my eyes, I realize I'm in some kind of a forest. I look around in confusion because I'm not quite familiar with the surrounding. I turn my head and notice Aang laying on the ground still asleep.

I stand up and approach him. "Aang..." I said, while shaking his shoulder. His eyes starts to move and he opens his eyes. He turns to look at me.

"Y/N. I just had the strangest dream. Wait... where are we?" He said, turning to look around. I shake my head, letting him know that I'm just as clueless as him. "I don't know brother" I said. I stand up and look around.

Where are we?
