FRED WEASLEY WASN'T ONE to be so easily focused on a single thing, everybody and their mothers knew it. He didn't have a one-track mind nor was he able to stick to any sort of a routine if he could help it. The redheaded teen was always looking for the next possible adventure; his next exciting challenge that'd last him a short amount of time before he was moving onto yet another. So, it was rather surprising for him to be so taken with a single person, one that he knew deep down in his own heart, wasn't as into him as he was of her. It was an extremely one-sided relationship – if he were actually able to label whatever they might've had together. But yet, despite it all, he still couldn't help but to stick close by, insisting to himself that things would change and he'd get exactly what he wanted, like always.

Unlike his twin brother, George Weasley didn't particularly enjoy the fact that Bronwyn Henderson had some kind of emotional hold over Fred and was happily stringing him and his feelings along – and that everybody else also knew it and still weren't willing to speak it aloud. He didn't care how pretty or how old, or just who she was – it wasn't fair to his brother and he took enough offense for the both of them. In honesty, the only reason he hadn't said something so publicly is because he knew just how whipped Fred was for the sixth year; and just how long it took for him to admit that he liked her – and George just wasn't as willing to ruin his brother's happiness as he was to set Ginny out on Henderson.

George knew from personal experience that people had their own things going on; that they were silently dealing with their problems most of the time, and he knew no one was perfect – and while he didn't purposely want to dislike the girl who hadn't wronged him directly, he couldn't help but to hold a grudge instead of being indifferent with her. He'd rather resort to ignoring her instead of giving into her banter or conversation; in the off-chance that she'd get the idea he was okay with whatever game she was playing with his brother.

Though, it didn't mean he couldn't show his disappointment in various facial expressions to his siblings and friends behind Henderson's back.

"Mate, fix your face," Lee Jordan's voice is what broke George out of his blank stare at the side of Fred's face, eyes flickering down to his half-eaten food then towards one of his best friends, "I'm trying to enjoy my meal and you're putting me off."

"Fix your face," George retorted lamely, letting his fork clatter onto the table before he was rubbing his hands all over his face with a loud groan, "just how many more days till we go on Christmas holiday?"

"We are literally only on the second week back," Ginny deadpanned from across the table.

"Gin, you are literally only a second year, speak to me when you're older."
