CLARKE POV

I left Skaikru bar a few minutes before midnight. I excused myself telling them I have an early day tomorrow. Raven and Octavia was drunk and occupied that they have let me go.

When I arrived at home, I prepared some of the things needed for tomorrow and I went straight to bed because I was totally drained.

I woke earlier than my alarm. I check my phone and it's still 7:00 am. Lexa won't be here until 8am so might as well get prepared. I grabbed my bag to double check if I have enough for our relaxing day.

I planned on taking Lexa in my private beach house. I know it's so cliche for someone with money. But I bought it because this is where I escape. Not even Raven and Octavia knows about it. It's my safe space, my peace and tranquility. That's why I thought of this place when Lexa mentioned about relaxation.

Good morning, Clarke. I'm just buying some coffee and breakfast then I'll be at your place.

Hey you. Good morning. Thanks, Lexa. I'll be at home.

I finished double checking the things I have to bring, so I went to take a quick shower and change. I didn't know what wat the perfect outfit but I decided to just go with joggers, hoodie over a tank top, and some sneakers.

After a few minutes, Lexa arrives with a ring on my doorbell. I opened my door with a wide smile.

Me: hey there, princess. Come on in.

I let Lexa in and she gave me a short hug.

Lexa: So what's our plan for today?

Me: it's a surprise. Let's eat breakfast first.

Lexa and I sat in my kitchen as we eat breakfast.

Me: So how was your week?

Lexa: It was kinda okay. But meh, atleast I got through with it. How about you?

Me: Same. Oh hey, sorry I slept early last night. But you went to the bar? How was it?

Lexa: Oh yea, I did. It was surprisingly okay. Technically I was not partying. They were all either making out or going to the dance floor. I just sat in the booth sipping wine.

Me: Wine, really? At a bar?

Lexa: What? I have an early morning date with you, why would I drink myself to god knows what?

I paused for a while. So Lexa thinks this is a date. I smile at the thought. Maybe I do have a chance with her.

Me: Well, I'm not stopping you from enjoying, princess.
