You took your time to get ready for the day. You spent a couple of hours in bed and then you got ready. You put on a cool, comfortable dress, put your hair on a ponytail and headed to Alan's hotel. You arrived at the hotel at 1PM and knocked on Alan's room door.
-Who is it? -he asked from inside the room.
-Your tour guide! Are you ready? -he opened the door.
-Of course I am.
You left the hotel and drove to the city center.
-First stop is the Monaco Palace. -you said getting out of the car. -It's the official residence of the Prince of Monaco.
-It's beautiful, I love the architecture. -he took a photo of it.
-You didn't bring your camera?
-I'm okay with just my phone today.
You entered the palace and it brought back memories, you hadn't visited it in years, since your dad died. You walked through the halls and admired every single detail.
-Next stop is Saint Nicholas Cathedral. -you said walking out of the palace and headed to the cathedral.
-Wow. -Alan said looking at it.
-I know, right? -you said. -Let me take a picture of you, give me your phone. -he stood in front of you and you took the picture. -The first chapel was built in the 13th century and it was turned into a cathedral in the 19th century.
-You know your history.
-Kind of. -you giggled. -The old building was demolished and the first stone of the new cathedral was set in 1875 if I remember correctly.
-It's beautiful, Monaco is beautiful.
-Are you hungry?
-I could eat.
-Let's go to the museum and we'll grab a snack.
You continued your journey, walking through the streets of Monaco until you reached the Oceanographic Museum. You bought a couple of sandwiched and ate them outside.
-The Oceanographic Museum was inaugurated in 1910 by the reformist prince of Monaco, as you can see, it has an impressive facade above the sea.
-It really is imposing. -he said analizing every detail. -You're really good at this tour guide thing. -he laughed.
-Thank you. -you smiled. He grabbed you by the waist and pulled you closer to him.
-And that dress looks amazing on you. -he went in for a kiss but you moved your face.
-Alan, I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression. -you said pulling away from him. -I'm in a complicated situation and I don't want to give you any kind of hope and since we're going to be working together, I don't want things to get messy. -you scratched the back of your neck.
-Oh, I get it. -he said disappointed. -I really like you, you know?
-And I like you but maybe not like that. -you said.
-Let's continue the tour. -he smiled.
You walked back to your car and drove to the Casino. It was full of people. You took photos outside and inside the casino and then you drove to the Prince's Private Car Collection. You bought 2 tickets and got in.
-This is crazy. -he said looking at the cars.
-I know, we used to come here with my dad.
-Your brother must feel proud of having one of his cars here.
