That night, the two of them almost struggled with each other. Gu Siyu was so exhausted that she couldn't lift her arms, and despite her sorry state, she refused to admit defeat. With the last of her strength, she wore down Huo Junxian until she was equally powerless.

Huo Junxian lay on top of her, both of them covered in sweat, gently rubbing against her neck, trying to merge with her.

Gu Siyu, with a sly mouth, continued to curse. She glared at her angrily, saying, "Go to hell."

"I am viviparous," Huo Junxian patiently retorted, engaging in a verbal spar with her. "Are you oviparous?" As she spoke, her fingers lightly traced her body. "Do you have an eggshell?"

Both of their faces were sticky, and it was hard to tell whose tears were whose.

Gu Siyu stopped talking to her, lying quietly. She curled up to sleep, while Huo Junxian held her, her hand resting on her waist, sighing softly. "You really are oviparous, so tough."

The two of them slept in a twisted position. Gu Siyu woke up first, her arm numb from being pressed. She turned her head to look at the person beside her. Huo Junxian's half body was pressed against her, making it difficult for her to move.

Gu Siyu carefully pushed her away and then got out of bed to find Huo Junxian's clothes on the floor. She searched for the keys in the clothes, but there was nothing inside.

Even her phone was missing. Gu Siyu couldn't believe it. She continued to search, remembering the chaotic tearing of clothes the night before. She distinctly heard something falling to the ground.

Crawling on the floor, Gu Siyu searched around and found the phone in the gap of the bedside table. She reached for it and found it to be Huo Junxian's phone. Kneeling at the bedside, she held Huo Junxian's fingers and tried to unlock the screen starting from the thumb, but none of the ten fingers worked, and the screen remained locked.

In the quiet night, Huo Junxian breathed lightly. Gu Siyu was afraid that she might be pretending to sleep, ready to open her eyes in an instant.

It was strange. Clearly, it was a fingerprint unlock, so why couldn't it open?

Gu Siyu looked at Huo Junxian's legs; there was a chain around them too. She couldn't possibly use her toes for fingerprint unlocking; that would be too absurd. She stared at Huo Junxian's legs, straight and covered only with a thin blanket around the waist, making her long legs appear white and smooth, like bathed in moonlight. The iron chain pressed against the skin, casting a tiny shadow.

Thinking like this, Gu Siyu feared that Huo Junxian might not be a normal person, so she tried using her toes to unlock the phone. As expected, it didn't work.

Unable to unlock the phone, the device on her leg kept her tied to Huo Junxian, making it impossible for her to walk away.

The more she thought about it, the angrier Gu Siyu became. She thought that showing weakness yesterday would make Huo Junxian relax her guard, but she didn't expect Huo Junxian to escalate the situation.

Gu Siyu turned around and straddled Huo Junxian's waist. Huo Junxian seemed to be waking up, and with a slap, Gu Siyu woke her up.

Huo Junxian blinked, perhaps not realizing what hit her. Her hand gently touched Gu Siyu's face, "Is it real or not?"

Gu Siyu held her breath. Huo Junxian pinched her face, almost distorting it. Gu Siyu gritted her teeth, slapped away her hand, and flipped off the bed, walking away without a care.

Huo Junxian had just woken up and didn't have much strength. Gu Siyu pulled her off the bed, making her stumble. She tried to grab onto something on the bed.
