I sat on my couch with my guitar,
I'm practicing my intermission song's chords, I want it to be perfect.
"Hi Teh." Andrea said sitting beside me.
"Hey Dre."
"Para ba yan sa intermission number mo? 【Is that for your intermission number?】" she asked.
"Mhm." I hummed placing my fingertips on the right guitar string.
"What's the name of the song?"
"Back To December."
"Wow, tungkol ba ito sakanya? 【Wow, is it about him?】"
I looked at her straight in the eye blankly.
She gave me a well-is-it? look.
"No." I lied.
Rrrriiingggg! Rrrriiingggg!
Andrea's phone rang.
"JK!" she squealed.
"Sagutin mo bilis!【Answer it quick!】" I squealed back, I haven't talked to him, we lost contact.

Andrea: Hi babe!
JK: Kamusta ang bebe ko?【How's my baby doing?】
He said sweetly he doesn't even know that I'm here.
Andrea: Miss na miss ka na.【She misses you so much.】
Andrea pouts.
JK: Don't worry baby we'll see each other again.
Me: Aww Pnoy version of Romeo and Juliet... How sweet.
I chirped in.
JK: Oh my God!... LEI?! I didn't know you're there! Are you in Andrea's house?
Me: Actually... Andrea's the one who's in my house.
JK: Oh ok... Uy! Nabalitaan kong nominated ka daw sa AMA awards! Totoo ba yun?【Oh ok... Hey! I heard that you were nominated in the AMA awards! Is it true?】
Me: Yeah 'Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist' & 'Favorite Pop/Rock album'.
JK: Wow big time!... May gown kana?【Do you have a gown?】
Me: Of course you know me... Girl Scout laging handa!【Girl Scout always ready!】
JK: Waaw! Can I see?
Me: Noope... You can't you'll see in the awards night.

"Ooooohhh..." Andrea said.

I said handling the phone to Andrea and left when she rolled her eyes playfully.

I went back to my dance studio and practiced my song.
