Nightmares

This happens after Leo came back to Camp from Ogygia, except he comes without Calypso. You are a daughter of Apollo. You are also part of the Prophecy. So there is 8.

     You and the rest of the Eight were having a sleep over in the Argo II. Nico and Will also came. Leo made some repairs and added two new cabins. One for Nico and one for Will.

      All of you guys just finished dinner and went to watch some movies. Percy, You, and Piper got to pick the movies to watch. Percy picked The Little Mermaid, You picked Hercules (Disney), and Piper picked Superman. Everybody was cuddling with their boyfriends and girlfriends except you and Leo. You guys were just friends, but you wish you were more. When he died, you just sat in your cabin and cried. You didn't go out to eat either. Will had to bring your food to you.

     You had this rare power Apollo gave you. Depending on your mood, you can change lighting and change temperature. Your cabin was as dark as the Hades Cabin, if not darker. If there was a Khione Cabin, that's how the Apollo Cabin felt. When Leo came back, everything was back to normal, and your siblings told Leo everything that happened to you when you found out he was dead.

       You and Leo were sitting next to each other, watching the movie awkwardly because all the couples: Percabeth, Frazel, Jiper/ Jasper, and Solangelo were all kissing. You began to get tired after eating so much candy and popcorn. Leo was also tired, and he surprisingly wasn't bouncing off the walls. Leo walked you back to your cabin on the Argo II, because his cabin was right next to yours.

      When you got back to your cabin, you grabbed some pajamas: a white tank top and a pair of pajama shorts that had sun prints. You went to the bathroom to change. You took a shower, brushed your teeth, brushed your hair, and put your hair into a messy bun. You went to your bed and cuddled in your blankets. You drifted off to sleep after about forty five minutes of trying to get comfortable.

     You had the worst nightmare ever:
"Leo! Please! You will die you can't do this! How do you think I will feel." You said while sobbing. "(Y/N), it's the only way to defeat Gaea. I'd rather die than have you and the others die. You're my best friend and so are the others. I'll miss you (Y/N)," Leo said while hugging you. He went on the Argo II and flew it at Gaea. You watched as the ship blew up. Leo was nowhere to be seen. You were crying even harder. You looked around to see all the other monsters retreating. You saw the rest of the Eight standing there shocked. Piper was sobbing in Jason's shirt because Leo was like a brother to her. Percy was crying while holding a trembling Annabeth. Hazel was hyperventilating while Frank tried to calm her down. You were all alone, trying to contain your sobs but couldn't. You tried everything to convince Leo not to go, but he just wouldn't listen. 'You can't change a prophecy, it's what supposed to happen' he said before he left. "

     You woke up screaming and crying really hard. This was the first time you had one of these nightmares. You went in the kitchen to get a glass of water. You got some water and drank it. You were still crying like crazy, and the Argo II got really cold because of it. It wasn't dark because it already was dark. You looked at a clock and saw it was three o'clock in the morning. When you were walking back to your cabin, you heard sobbing coming from the cabin next to yours, Leo's cabin. Leo never cried unless it was something serious. You knocked on the door and nobody answered. You knocked again, and you heard someone sniffle and open the door. Leo was there, his eyes red and puffy. His face was pale, just like yours. "Leo, can I come in?" You said while you sniffled and tears came down your cheeks. He let you in and you both sat next to each other on his bed. "What's wrong (Y/N)?" Leo asked you while sniffling. "I just had a nightmare. What about you? You never cry unless something really bad happened. I'm worried about you." You replied. "Oh, I had a nightmare too." He replied while you both cried harder. He pulled you into a hug and you sobbed into his shirt as he sobbed into your hair. "Sorry about getting your shirt wet Leo." You said. "It's fine (Y/N). What was your nightmare about? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." Leo asked with a sincere expression on his face and he wiped away your tears and then his. "My nightmare was about you dying Leo. All the pain I had suffered when you left. The sun draining out of the sky and getting really dark too. I really missed you Leo. I'm glad your back. What was your nightmare about? You can tell me when your ready." You said as tears spilled out of your eyes but a smile appeared on your face as you said that you missed him. Leo smiled at that part too. "I missed you so much too (Y/N). More than you can imagine too. My nightmare was about..." He said while looking away as he let more tears stream down his face. You frowned and pulled him into a hug. He hugged you back and then said, " It was about the fire. When I k-killed my m-mom. The flames, m-my flames, env-enveloping her and k-killing her..." You began crying harder because of Leo's terrible past experience. "It was all my fault. My life would be so much better if she was here. I wouldn't have been beaten from the orphanage." He added as he stared into your puffy eyes. "Leo, you know it wasn't your fault. It was the dirt face Gaea's. I'm sorry Leo. I know what that feels like too..." You said as you looked away. "Y-y-you do?" He asked. "Yeah. I'm sorry I've never told you this. It's a sensitive spot to hit. I always cry when I talk about this. So be prepared. When I was 6, before I came to Camp Half Blood, I lived with my mom. She got me a puppy and I was really happy. She knew all my powers but she loved me anyways. Well, I got too happy, the light in the room got too bright, and instantly killed her. The heat rose up too..." You said as you sobbed in Leo's shirt. Leo pulled you tighter. "I'm really sorry (Y/N). We both lost our moms so now we know each other even better." You looked up at him and stared in his sorrowful eyes. He stared in your sorrowful eyes. All of a sudden he leaned in and kissed you. You were to surprised to kiss back. He pulled away and looked the opposite direction. " I-I'm sorry. I really like you, actually, I love you. Sor- Mmph!" You immediately pulled him into a passionate kiss and he kissed you back. The room became bright, but just as bright as the sunshine outdoors. You now knew how to maintain your ability. You pulled away and he hugged you. "I love you too Leo. Always have, always will. Thank you for comforting me with my nightmares and bad past experiences. " You said, your voice muffled in his shoulder. "(Y/N), will you be my girlfriend? And thank you for comforting me. Now, we can comfort each other. You make me extremely happy. I love you as much as I love my mom..." He said, his voice getting quieter as he said the last part. You were speechless. You didn't know what to say. Him saying he loves you as much as his mom just says how much he loves you. " I didn't love Calypso this much. When I went to Ogygia, she was making out with a stupid Ares demigod and she told me he and her were going to stay on her island." He continued saying. You replied, " Leo, I'm speechless! I don't know what to say! I love you as much as I love books, in fact, more! And you know how much I love books!" You both giggled and you pulled him into a long, very passionate kiss. When you pulled away, you said, " Wow, Leo! It's already 4:30. I'm really tired. I'm going to go back to my cabin." "Okay (Y/N)." He said while frowning. When you were at your cabin door, you looked around you to see Leo. "Yes Leo?" You said while giggling. "Can I sleep with you for the rest of the morning so I don't have anymore nightmares?" He said while giving you his sad puppy dog eyes that Percy taught him. You just couldn't say no to that face. "Okay Leo, but we aren't doing anything besides cuddling and going to sleep, okay?" You said. "Okay." He replied. You and Leo got into your bed. You covered you and him up with your blankets and he wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you so close, your noses were touching. He kissed your forehead and said, "Goodnight (Y/N). I love you." You went to kiss his cheek but he turned so you kissed his lips. He smirked and you smiled. "I love you too Leo, goodnight." As you and him drifted off to sleep, you and him had no nightmares for the rest of the morning.

     That morning, you woke up to phone cameras flashing. You see Piper, Percy, and Hazel taking photos while the others were aweing, even Nico was smiling on how cute you and Leo were. Leo pulled you close and said in your ear, "Ssshhhh... Don't pay attention to them. Just go back to sleep mí amour. Té amo." You blushed because you knew he said my love and I love you. You knew very little Spanish, but that was the two things that you knew. You drifted off to sleep again in Leo's grasp and warmth. You heard Piper say, " My OTP has sailed! I'm so happy Jason! (Ship name) has finally become one!" Leo mumbled, " Piper, your Aphrodite is showing! Leave me and my Walking Sunshine alone." You blushed while the rest of the eight left while giggling. Leo nuzzled his neck in yours and fell back asleep. You giggled and laid back down. Maybe Leo will make your sorrow go away and make your life complete. Hopefully you will do the same for him. 'Humor is a good way to hide all the pain'.

    I literally started to tear up while making this. It's so sad what all happened to Leo. I wanted the reader to feel how Leo felt, so that's why I had the reader's mom die by the reader's own power too. Hope you enjoyed this story!
