Chapter 44: Here When You Fall

♛ Sam's P.O.V. ♛

     She was laying in my bed, on my chest. We talked and then she popped a question about my first true love. Which was really long time ago.

     "Why did you guys break up?", I laughed, almost painfully.

     "Well, one day she loved me and the next she didn’t.", I said. "Strange isn’t it? How fast someone’s feelings can change and then there’s nothing you can do but accept it. You have to sit and accept the fact you’re completely in love with someone who doesn’t even give a shit whether you come or go and frankly they would rather it if you didn’t come at all. And that sucks."

     "Yeah, I know the feeling."

♛ Dean's P.O.V. ♛

     I was getting ready after night with Elena. Just when I was ready to leave, Sam entered the house.

     "What are you doing here?", I asked him.

     "She's my friend. What are you doing here?!", he asked.

     "We, um...We accidentally slept together.", I mumbled.

     "Oh, then I have to tell you something too.", he said.

     "What?", I looked at him confused.

     "Something happened between Caroline and me.", he confessed.

     "Oh...", I just nodded and left saying nothing else.

♛ Caroline's P.O.V. ♛

     "What are you doing here?", I asked Elena when I saw her in the castle.

     "I just came back to pick some of my stuff that I left here."

     "Good, just take your things and get out!"

     "What's your problem?", she asked me.

     "My problem is you!", I yelled at her. "How could you?"

     "What are you talking about?"

     "You and Dean!!! How could you do that to me? You know I have feelings for him."

     "So, that's why you ran to Sam to get revenge?", she asked.

     "How do you know about that?", I asked her.

     "It doesn't matter how I know it, I just do.", she said. "And one advice, you should stay away from him. Because he's hoping you'll sleep with him."

     "Well, I already did.", I told her.

     "You did what?!", she raised her voice at me and I just left the castle.

♛ Elena's P.O.V. ♛

     Just when Caroline left, one great idea came up to me.

     I ran to find Damon and when I finally found him I pretend to be scared and upset.

     "Elena, what...", I didn't let him finish.

     "Caroline, she...", I stopped for a moment to make it more dramatic.

     "She what, Elena?!", he yelled.
