3 WEEK LATER
10 AM

It's been 3 weeks, since I've been here in the hospital, and today is the day I'll be going home. Right know, my mom is packing my stuff, while Liam is getting breakfast. I'm here in the bathroom. I'm getting ready. I had my plan for today. I'll go home and rest for an hour then I'll go to work. I won't bother to be absent. I've been in the hospital for almost a month.

My look:

After getting ready, I went out of the bathroom, and saw mom and Liam sitting on the bed

After getting ready, I went out of the bathroom, and saw mom and Liam sitting on the bed. I walked closer, and I sat beside mom. I laid my head on her shoulder.

"I know it's hard for you, Crystal. It's really hard to lose someone that you love. I was slowly deteriorating when your Grandma died, and I know that's how you feel. Losing someone is normal, Honey. People can't live forever. Life is like your rights, it has a limit. Just like your dad's life, his life had a limit. And same goes to us." Mom lectured while caressing my hair.

"It is really hard, Mom. But, don't worry. I'll try to get used to it as fast as I can." I replied.

"You don't need to rush on getting used to it. Just go with the flow of life. Your dad must've been so happy right now that he can't stop smiling." Mom said.

"If only dad is here. I'll personally tell him that I've accepted his offer. I love him so much. I thought he didn't care about me because he was so cold to me, but then I realized that every father can sacrifice when it comes to their children. I couldn't stop blaming myself for leaving that house." I said.

"Why would you blame yourself for leaving the house?" Mom asked me.

"If I stayed and agreed, dad wouldn't die. I left the house, and got involved in a car crash that dad had to donate all his blood. I feel sorry for how I acted. I acted selfish." I said as I looked down and played with my finger.

"You weren't acting selfish. You were just scared if getting hurt again. Your dad didn't know that you would feel that way. Every word has a hidden meaning in it, so don't say you acted selfish when you were just scared of being hurt again." Mom corrected me.

"Dad is the luckiest man in the world. He's such a cold and serious person, but he met you. He met a woman that can tolerate his attitude. A woman that can give him lectures to change. And a woman that gave him a little lady who acted with the same attitude as his. And I'm the luckiest daughter ever. I'm the luckiest daughter because I have a mom like you. You can tolerate a bad attitude without regretting." I said while holding mom's hand.

"I'm lucky for having you. You never helped, neither protected someone, but you chose to protect me who is your mother. You never saved your Grandma, but you cried when she was gone. I'm lucky for having a cold, yet emotional daughter like you. I love you, my baby." She said with a peck on my forehead.
