"So what was the briefing about?" asks Eve. There was a hint of coldness and jealousy in her tone but I chose to ignore it since she could be a bit salty when she doesn't get what she wants.

"Nothing much, it was just when the programme starts, which is next week and what we should bring to Cali West. Surprisingly not much, no wonder it's known for it's relaxed rules"

"What do you mean?" asks Alex.

We were walking through the crowded hallways towards my locker since the remaining of our last class is over.

Oliver's group was spotted nearby and his friend's waved at us, followed by him. They were the most popular group of guys in school, along with us. They excelled in every sport you could imagine, especially basketball.

Whilst for us Alex is the more sportier one out of our trio. She does cheer and she's in the athletics team for running and Eve is the captain for the cheerleading team. I, on the other hand can't do sports at all.

I'm famous for my dancing. I've entered multiple competitions a year and won a lot of them, I even got to be in television for interviews like talk shows and news reports and sometimes radio stations. But that's the peak of it.

We all somehow became friends in 3rd Grade when Alex decided to sit with me at lunch, followed by Eve. Our fame in school grew from there and the popular boy group noticed us and we all became friends.

Then Oliver, one of the most well-known guy in that group confessed to me in front of the whole cafeteria and I accepted, thus starting a beautiful relationship.

And now here we are.

He went over to me, interrupting my friend's and I's conversation. He placed his hand on my back and pulled me close before giving me a kiss. I held his arms for support, kissing back.

"I haven't seen you all day" he smiles, showcasing his white pearls.

I smile back. I know I know, an utterly cliché love story where the popular guy and the popular girl whom is dating one another does multiple PDA's in school, but what is there to expect in high school anyway.

"Hey hey, save this for later. You still need to elaborate, Ruby" says Alex.

"Oh yea" I let go of his arms and turn towards her. "Their school doesn't have their students wear uniforms like us, so I get to wear casually but according to their dress code of course. I heard it's not that strict, but I'm gonna get the email when I get back home later so I'll see about that"

"Oh yeah you got picked for the student transfer programme thingy, right?" asks Noah, one of the guys in Oliver's group.

I nod my head in response. "When is it?" asks Oliver.

"Starts next week"

"I see. Wait, isn't today Friday??"

"Think so"

"Then today is your last day isn't it? This isn't fair. I'm not gonna see my girlfriend for the next three months" he pouts as he comes closer.

Before he could do anything, Eve halts him. "Please, not in school"

The both of us chuckle. "Okay okay. I'll come over today"

"Sure" I smiled. Just then the bell for final period rings, so we all separate to our respective classes.
