The day went by pretty smoothly, I had to introduce myself to the classes I was assigned to and am now somewhat friends with the people who sat next to me since I'm gonna need their help to catch up.

Soon enough lunch came by but I didn't feel like eating.

"Do you sit with a big group of people at lunch?" I ask.

"Not always. But I have these three girls that I always sit with. Their super nice and you'll get along with them instantly!"

"Uh I don't really feel like eating actually. Is there anywhere that isn't too crowded that I can sit at?"

"Hmm, at the football field there are some wooden tables and benches where you can sit at. No one really goes there so you won't find much people there"

I nod. "Okay, it's that way right?"

"Yup, you'll go first. I'll get us some food and I'll meet you there." Before I could say anything she runs off towards the cafeteria.

A chuckle left my lips. She's so nice.. and responsible. How am I so lucky to get her as my tour guide..

I grab my book bag and walked towards the football field. As she said, there were some wooden benches and chairs so I sat in one.

I took out my notebook and pen and finished off a sketch that I was drawing a couple days ago. In my  free time, I like to sketch out my lingering thoughts in the most absurd way. The more annoying the thought is, the more detailed it would be.

Guess you could call it a remedy of some sort or something.

Just as I was doing my thing, a hand swiftly grabbed my book. I look up and it was a stranger. A boy that I have never seen before, not even in my recent classes.

He had curly brunette hair and an ear piercing. He had hazel eyes that were attentively looking at my drawings that were supposed to be personal, but now wasn't.

"Hm, Ruby is an artist huh?" he smirks.

I snap back to reality. "S-Sorry? Uh these are actually personal so if you mind giving it back" I stood up and tried snatching my book back but he raised it higher.

"Nah I mind. These are weird drawings and I wonder what these other pages behold-"

I widen my eyes. No one, not even Eve and Alex has ever seen my drawings before. Heck, I rarely ever pull out this book in front of them so for a random stranger's eyes on these drawings.. big fat NO.

Just as he was about to flick to the next page, I pull his arm away hastily and tried my best to retrieve my dear book back but he kept switching the book from one hand to another which made it difficult for me.

So without thinking twice I stepped up with the help of the bench with one leg and quickly grabbed the book, holding his shoulder for support. I turned to him to pull out the deathliest glare I could make when we realised our faces were a breath apart.
