Without warning, Morgan stood up. He looked up at her surprised and confused.
"What are you doing?"
"I have to go. I'll... see you later. Maybe."
"What? What do you mean? Why do you have to go?"

Before he could finish the last sentence, Morgan was already gone.

Strips of paper fell onto the snow. His eyes followed them, blinking. Why did she just leave like that? Why was it so sudden? What did she mean by maybe?

Was it his fault? It probably was. Why did he always have to ruin everything?

A piece of paper had landed directly under him, and a single tear fell down onto it.

Of course this would happen.
She didn't want to be around him anymore.

He turned and pulled his legs close.

He should leave, before he got too cold again.
But he didn't want to.

A wave of hopelessness had washed over him, and he didn't know why.
Why should he find warmth?
He already felt frozen all the time.
So why not freeze physically, too?

It wasn't like he was important.
Not anymore.
It wasn't like he was needed.
Not anymore.
It wasn't like he was

Soon.

It would be soon.

She had to wait for the castle to be built, though.
That would come first.
She didn't know how she'd do it.
She just knew that she'd need the library.

Poison, maybe.

That would work.

It was to save him.
That's what she told herself.
To save him.
Keep him safe.

Anyway, she'd need to the Sheikah slate.
She wanted to leave him a note before she did it.
To explain herself.
Hylia knows she wouldn't be able to speak to him afterward.

She just hoped he wouldn't do something stupid because of it.

This was such a terrible idea.
Bit she had to do it.
She just couldn't bear it anymore.
She couldn't bear seeing it anymore.

She couldn't bear seeing him
