It's now a little over 7 pm. Josh should've arrived in LA by now. I texted him a few times but he hasn't replied. I know it's only been an hour but gosh I already miss him so much.
I've been staring at my phone, waiting for him to text, or even call me. But no. The only notification I get is from another random girl following me on Instagram.
I try to distract myself by going on TikTok and watch a few videos from there. Not gonna lie, it really helps me to relax and forget about everything. I just keep scrolling and scrolling that I didn't realize how long I ended up spending my time on that app.
My body feels tired from laying on the same position too much. I finally stop scrolling and hit the home button. That's when I realize something.
It's 8:30 pm right now. I've been on TikTok for one and a half hour? I swear it felt like 10 minutes! But I mean it explains why my neck hurts now. But still, it didn't feel like one and a half hour.
But I feel really exhausted today. I literally stayed super late last night partying and I had to pack everything for Josh today. I just wanna go to sleep right now. I'm literally already laying in my bed and all I need to do is close my eyes. But I can't go to sleep. He hasn't called yet! He promised he'd call. It's kinda making me worried.
I unlock my phone, go to my contacts and press the call button beside his name.
1 ring. 2 rings. 3 rings. 4 rings.
He's not answering. What could he possibly be doing this late at night? I mean it's only 8:30 it's not that late but... Doesn't he have to wake up like super early tomorrow for interviews?
My eyes are starting to get heavier and heavier. I try to fight it but it's just getting even heavier until I can't fight it back and I just give in.

I was woken up by my phone ringing beside me. I take the phone while squinting my eyes, trying to read who's calling from the super bright screen.
It's Josh.
I swipe up to answer while rubbing my eyes.

"Hey!" He says almost immediately when I answer. It looks like he just entered the hotel room. "Oh were you sleeping? Did I wake you up? Sorry!"
"I tried calling you! And texting you!" I say with my lazy-half-asleep voice while still rubbing my eyes.
"Yeah sorry baby. We were having dinner together and I didn't really pay attention to my phone. But I'm back in my hotel room as you can see," he says, panning the camera around.
"How are you feeling?"
"So much better. Tim told me to take some rest though. Gotta get up early tomorrow," he answers while still walking around inside his hotel room.
"Yeah you probably need to go to sleep. It's like what... 10?"
"Yeah it's almost 10. Um... But I don't know. I'm not that sleepy. Probably because I already slept the entire day today," he laughs.
