Y/n's p.o.v.
Me and Kairi has been in a relationship for 2 years now but I never told him about something. I have leukemia. My parents has no idea either. I just went to the doctor 1 year ago and said that I only have few years to live.
I never want to tell him because I think he'll just leave because im just gonna die tho. I wanted to spend my remaining years with him.
I expect that I'll nearly die anytime now. I know Kairi will be broken but there's nothing I can do about it already. I'm already dying without him knowing anything
Kairi invited me for a romantic dinner tonight. Ofcourse I agreed. He said he'll pick me up at 8pm and its already 7pm so I started to get ready.
I'm so excited to spend another romantic time with my boyfriend. I always put some liptint in my lips and some blush on so he will not notice how pale I was.
After an hour, I heard a honk outside my house and im sure it's Kairi. Im locked the door behind me while going out with all my things. I smiled while opened the door for me. He held my hand and kiss the back of it. I just giggled at how he act.
Kairi's p.o.v.
I arranged a romantic dinner because I already want to propose to her. Im really sure that she's the one for me. The one I have future with and have kids with. The one that I will grow old with.
She got into the car still smiling on how I acted. I closed the door and got in to the car. I drove while holding her hand. Nervousness came into me that's why I didn't say anything.
After minutes of driving we already got into the restaurant. It's not that fancy but romantic enough. It's an italian restaurant that my friend's dad own.
I guided her where will we seat. I pulled the chair for her. We ordered and wait. We talk about something until our order came. Mattia is the one who serves it. He winked at me with a smile but not letting y/n to see that.
We started to eat and after that. I got really really nervous about my proposal. There's plenty of people in the restaurant and I'm getting anxious.
But here comes nothing...
Y/n's p.o.v.
"Y/n y/l/n..."He suddenly said so I looked at him with confussion. He looked like something is bothering him that's why I got really nervous.
"You always make me happy and im sure youre the one. The one I'll have kids and have future with. Grow old with so..."Kairi said that brought tears in my eyes
He kneeled on his one knee and pulled the small box out of my pocket. He opened it and I can feel all of the people watching. Im really close on crying and looked at him shocked.
"Can you make me the happiest person and marry me?" He looked up at me with hopeful eyes.
I nodded my head yes while tearing up. Everyone is cheering us while he slid the ring onto my ring finger. We both stood up and hugged it other tightly.
"A i shi te ru" (I Love you) i said softly."I love you too."
Timeskip
We got outside and started walking to the car. I forgot about my sickness because of everything that just happened. While thinking of that, I can feel myself being dizzy and the urge of falling beacuse my legs don't have the strength to make me stand.
I fell and everything went black...
Kairi's p.o.v.
While we're walking, y/n just suddenly walked like she's drunk."Hey are you ok?"
I asked her but she didn't answer and she just fall but before that, I catched her. I carried her to the car and started to panic. What is happening?!
I drove so fast to the hospital. We got there after 10 minutes. I frantically carried her to the emergency room. They checked up on her and I just waited out side.
It's like nearly midnight and I don't wanna bother anyone just comfort me. I know she's gonna be ok. I prayed and prayed until one of the nurses came up to me."Um are you the patient's relative?"
I stood and wiped my tears of."had she told you about her illness?" She said while looking at her chart.
What?! She told me nothing! I shook my head no."Then sorry to say this but she only have a week to live. We gave her a life support so that she can live longer than a day. It's all too late for us to gave her medications."
I stood there like an idiot trying to process what all I've heard. A Week!? "You can visit her now but don't exhaust her. May you excuse me."
She said then left. I entered her room slowly. She's concious but she looked awful. She so pale. Her lips are dry and white. She already looked dead. Her eyes aren't fully open. When she saw me, she tried to smile but it became a weak smile.
I came near her sitting beside her in stool beside her bed. I started to cry. I held her hand and it's so cold. Seeing her like this makes me wanna die. It kills me.
"don't cry..." Her voice is like a whisper and so weak. She caressed my cheeks with his cold hands.
After a week
Still kairi's p.o.v.
It's her last day. I just lay beside her in her hospital bed. Her being in my arms for the last day is making me suffer. She bary even move because of her weakness.
She looked up at me smiling weakly. I'm still crying. I can see her also tear up.
"Babe?"she said with softness in her voice."hmmm?" I just hummed."Can you do me a favor?"
I didn't say anything.
"promise me that you'll be happy and..."
She took of the engagement ring on her finger and gave it to me with her shaking hands. Im confused.
"g-gave this t-to her."
Her voice is getting weaker and weaker. Her heartbeat at the monitor is getting low.
Y/n's p.o.v.
I feel so weak. I can't take it anymore...
Kairi's p.o.v.

The sound of that fucking monitor is torturing me. I looked at y/n who's already closing her eyes but still has the weak smile on her face. I started to cry hard.
But I should accept it... She's gone...
