Kairi's p.o.v.
I took my shoes off as i entered our house. It's 3am and i just got home from work. I haven't sleep early in weeks.
I sat in the couch and closed my eyes for a minute until my stomach made a shound. Im hungry.
I loosened my neck tie and ran my fingers on my hair as i stood up and wore my flipflops.
I went to the kitchen and saw a covered plate on the counter with a note on it.
Hi bubs! I know you're hungry when you got home so i made this for you♡
I don't know what i did to deserve a woman like her in my life. I smiled while reading it over and over again.
I sat there and ate my food. All i can hear is the clock ticking and that's it.
My eyes are heavy and are closing by themselves. I went upstairs to take a shower and also change.
She's been asleep hours ago and i know it. She always come home early from the restaurant.
We barely even sleep together from the past weeks since everytime i got home, i will immediately fall asleep at the couch.
It felt like 2 single people sleeping and living inside one house.
I opened the door as quietly as possible. There she is, sleeping on her side snuggled up with her comforter.
I changed and took a quick shower. I snuggled to her side and she suddenly moved
"Shhhh it's me" i said softly. "Go back to sleep"
Then she relaxed again under my arms. Thank god it's my day off tomorrow.
I missed cuddling up with her in our bed and talking about how our day have been.
"I love you baby." I whisphered to her and kissed her cheeks.
