Chapter 73: Thursday Night

"Turn around" I demanded.

She ignored me and continued driving.

"I'm serious Chlo and it's Thursday!" I whined.

"So?" She looked amused, letting out a small chuckle.

"So we have quizzes tomorrow" I groaned.

"We can study tonight." She shrugged.

"I have my notebooks at Tori's, turn around."

"Okay" she nodded.

I turned to her, "really?"

"Yeah"

Well that was easy.

I sat back in satisfaction, looking out the window to see where we're at.

She didn't turn the vehicle around.

I felt defeated as I heard the car engine go off and Chloe unbuckled her seatbelt.

"We're at your house aren't we" I sighed.

She grinned and opened the door, "whatchu gonna do about it"

"You're such a child." I shook my head, took off the seatbelt and stepped out of the car.

"Well, this child owns the house your sleeping at" she smugly said.

I rolled my eyes, refraining from smiling at her comeback.

She opened the door and walked straight to the kitchen.

"Hi people!" She greeted.

I stood frozen beside Chloe.

All of them were sitting together at the table.

David, Olivia, Elise, Alexis.

Even Carol and Gerard.

The burning feeling of their stares had me hiding behind Chloe.

"You didn't tell me everyone was here" I whispered to her scoldingly, feeling my heart race at the anxious feeling.

"I didn't know either" she shrugged.

"What's with the fancy outfits?" Chloe asked them.

"Oh honey!" Olivia chirped.

It was the first time I heard her sound excited.

"We're going out for a bit," she said and the rest nodded.

"Until when?"

"Why do you ask young lady" David stared at her playfully.

His eyes caught mine and I immediately looked away.

"Just curious" she glared at him, "are you out until midnight?"

"We're not sure" Alexis answered, "we have a reservation but we don't have an exact plan of what to do after since it was a sudden thought put together."
