It had felt like it was yesterday when the twins were just a bunch of six year olds hiding behind their fathers robes to hide from their Papa's spice filled soup, with the twins now being almost sixteen years old, time had moved on pretty fast. Wei Wuxian and lan wangji being in their early thirties did not look a day older then nineteen because of their strong cultivation, whilst some of them had mistaken the twins' father as their brothers, to their disappointment they had to correct them every time and tell them that they were indeed their father's not siblings.

"I really hope that papa isn't screaming like yesterday" lan Jingyi whispered in a scared tone under his breath after his traumatic experience yesterday when he went to Jingshi where he heard his father's loud moans. Lan Sīzhuī chuckled nervously and knocked on the doors of Jingshi which wad surprisingly open today, the twins walked inside slightly tiptoeing hoping that their fathers were inside.

"Come inside" lan Zhan spoke from the other side knowing very well that his children were inside Jingshi most probably running away right now because of the noises wei ying made.

"We're caught now Sīzhuī!" Jingyi whisper yelled at his brother and walked inside towards the other side of Jingshi hoping that their fathers weren't doing what they had assumed to be doing. "I'm sorry" Sīzhuī spoke with a smile on his face.

"Oh thank god!" Jingyi let out a sigh of relief when he realised that his father was just massaging his papa's hair whilst his papa sat inside the tub moaning his hearts out from how good the massage felt.

"Ohh~ I love this lan 'an!" Wei Ying mewled when lan Zhan washed his overgrown hair with warm water. Jingyi and Sīzhuī hid behind the wall with their cheeks clearly red when their papa hadn't stopped moaning.

"What do you want my dear children" wei ying spoke whilst lan zhan continued to massage his scalp. Lan Jingyi scowled and looked at Sīzhuī who smiled at the new nickname their papa had given them today.

"We are sorry for snitching yesterday" Jingyi apologised not making any eye contact with his papa or father. "Why are you sorry?" Wei Ying asked in a teasing tone clearly playing around with his children.

"For calling father when you got hurt in the Mo manor- But! The woman should not have hurt you wei Ying!" Jīngyi exclaimed cutting off his twin brother in between when he saw where his brother went wrong during his littl apology.

' how dare you hit our papa!' Jingyi exclaimed in a pissed off tone, he knew he should have calmed down but how dare that ugly woman hit his papa, especially in front of all those people.

' Jingyi! She's possessed calm down!' Sīzhuī tried to get his brother stop cursing the dying woman.

' it's alright little rabbit, she didn't hurt me that bad' wei Ying chirped wiping the blood coming from the side of his mouth.

' you're bleeding wei ying! I'm calling Father!' Wei Ying panicked when Sīzhuī agreed with him and ran after them.

' don't call him! He had already restricted me from going in night Hunt's for a month!' Wei Ying exclaimed in panicked tone. Lan Zhan had taken away his chenqing when he had put his life in danger for a deer.

' we will call uncle Jiang then!' Sīzhuī spoke supporting his brother and sent out two butterfly messengers.
