"Okay, he's outside right now!" Paul yelled and sat back down.

We were waiting for my dad to get back from the court hearing. The door unlocked and he walked through.

"What'd they say?" Richard asked.

"I still have custody of Nele and Marie Louise," He shut the door and we all cheered. "But we're getting into a fucking divorce. I keep screwing everything up-this is my second divorce!"

"That's not true," We all said.

Richard got up and hugged him.

"Don't worry," Richard punched his arm. "Now you can sleep with whoever you want to."

"I don't want to sleep with anyone, Richard."

"You can sleep with me."

Till chuckled. "Maybe another time. We signed the papers today-it's going to take anywhere from four to six months."

"You're in America, though," I said.

Till sighed. "This wasn't the first time that we talked about getting a divorce. We were already in the process of it."

"What?!"

"So...we have actually just this month."

"But you guys-"

"WE WERE PUTTING ON AN ACT, FLAKE!" Till yelled. "GODDAMMIT, DON'T YOU SEE?! SHE FLEW BACK TO GERMANY AND SHE'S GOING TO SPEND TIME WITH MARIE LOUSIE! I'M GOING TO MY ROOM!"

He went to his room and slammed the door.

"Divorces are hard," Paul got up and went into his room.

"Yeah," My mom muttered. "Come on, Adette-let's go get our stuff."

"Are we leaving?" I asked.

"Yes," She started walking towards the door.

"Neil is coming soon-we were going to talk about everything."

She sighed. "Well then let's hurry and tell him what's going on."

"Okay."

"Richard, come on."

"I'm going to stay and wait for Till," He replied.

"Okay," My mom said and we walked to our hotel room and got all of our stuff together. "I made an appointment for you with a sonographer."

"A what?"

"A person who gives ultrasounds."

"Okay. For when?"

"Tomorrow at 12. So, you better tell Neil when you see him if you want him to be there. Your dad and Richard are coming, too."

"Mom, that's a lot of people."

"Think about it this way: a lot of people care about you."

"I guess so."

There was a knock on the door, so I opened it up and there stood Neil.

"Hey," He waved and came in.

"I have an appointment for an ultrasound tomorrow at 12," I told him. "Are you able to come?"

"Yeah, sure."

"What's the matter?"

"Nothing."

"Neil?"

He started crying. "Rachel broke up with me."

I hugged him and rubbed his back.

"I literally devoted myself to her," He sobbed. "And just because you're pregnant, she broke up with me! I fucking love her!"

"I get the feeling."

"Oh my God-this is how you felt."

"Not as bad as you."

"Are you leaving?" He let go of me and looked around.

"You cry for a short period of time."

"Yeah, well, I cried a lot today, so..."

"Yeah-we're leaving."

"Got all of our stuff!" My mom said.

"I'll help you guys bring it downstairs," Neil offered.

We grabbed all of our stuff and made it downstairs all in one trip. We gave Richard his stuff and then said bye to everyone.

"Have fun at your concert tomorrow!" I yelled.

"We'll hang out still," Christoph said. "I mean-when we're here."

"Okay," I smiled.

Neil walked us to the car waiting for us.

"Is it alright if I stay with you tonight?" Neil asked.

"Neil-"

"She kicked me out of our house."

"Wait, you moved in with her?"

"Yeah, I did. I just haven't told my parents yet and I don't want to tell them anytime soon."

"Well, you are coming to the ultrasound tomorrow-sure."

He got into the car and I explained to my mom what was going on.

"Okay," She said unsure.

We arrived at the house and put everything away.

"So...does it...hurt?" Neil asked we sat down at the counter.

"No," I chuckled. "It just sometimes hurts."

"If I'm being honest, I thought that you were fat."

"That's rude," My mom said. "I'm going to my room-Richard is going to stay with Till for the night and then he's coming to our house tomorrow."

She went up the stairs and I followed her.

"Mom, what was that about?" I whispered.

"You have cried over him ever since we left for Germany, but now what he's back, it seems like everything is alright!"

"Mom-"

"I understand-I'm just mad at him for what he did to you. You weren't the same person, Adette."

"I'm better now, though."

"I know. I think that seeing your dad helped."

"It did-I missed him."

"It's really late, Adette-you should get going to bed."

"Okay. Night, love you."

"Love you, too."

Neil and I went up to my room and crawled into my bed.

"I'm sorry about this," Neil said.

"It's fine," I told him.

"I know your mom isn't happy about it."

"You could tell?"

"Yeah."

"Sorry."

"No, you didn't do anything-this is my doing."

"Let's go to sleep-we have a big day tomorrow."
