I would always stay with the Harpers. My parents would never be home, so I would spend every day after school with the Harpers. I didn't mind it though. They were pretty chill and really fun to be around. It's around 8:00 PM, so we decided to watch a scary movie.
Dawn-alright guys. What do you wanna watch??
Dicky-something scary
Nicky-thats the plan... shes asking which one we wanna watch
Dicky-ohhhh that makes more sense
We all started laughing at Dicky's stupidity
Dawn-how about... The Conjuring??!!

I took a deep breath and nodded my head. What could possibly happen right??
~♡time skip to after the movie♡~
It was just me and Nicky awake and everyone else was sleeping. The movie had finished and I well... I'm rolled in a ball. On the couch. Under a blanket...*sighs*
I then felt a hand on my back and screamed
Nicky-shhh it's ok. It's ok it's just me
I then felt...safe??
Nicky-come here. I'll take you upstairs so you can sleep
Next thing I knew I was wrapped like a koala around Nicky heading upstairs. He set me down on his bed and gave me a hoodie to put on.
Y/n-Nicky... where will you sleep??
Nicky-with you?? You've been my best friend since preschool, sooo it's fine
Y/n-ok...
We then just layed there in complete silence. Until one of us spoke
Nicky-hey y/n??
I then hummed in response
Nicky-I ummm...I...I
Y/n-Nicky it's ok. It's just us sooo... no need to be nervous
Nicky-well they always said actions are better then words
Y/n-wha-
And just like that, his soft lips were on mine. Just us in this moment. No interruptions. Just...us
We then pulled away a little out of breath
Nicky-I love you y/n... and I promise to always keep you safe
Y/n-I love you too Nicky
We enjoyed this moment in each other's arms just enjoying each other's company and in a really long time I finally felt safe again
