[ A/n : Having a 'familiar' in this fic would be different than what most of y'all probably know. A familiar usually pertains to a demon or an animal that obeys the person it is under the control of. Well— it is kind of the same but it's different! ]

The Psion is a powerful creature in Lithurgian Mythology, known to terrorize humans by messing with their fragile minds. They are captured by the goddess of memories and punished for eternity for the havoc they have caused.

And a mortal is asking to make it their familiar. . .

It growled at the smiling (Y/n), "Foolish girl, I wouldn't stoop so low."

"I knew you would say that. But isn't your current circumstance possibly the lowest of the low? A creature as powerful as you. . . serving a goddess under the control of a more powerful god?"

[ The constellation 'Asahi' says that you should watch your mouth]

[ The constellation 'Serpent of Eden' chuckled ]

[ The constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' whistled awkwardly]

[ The constellation 'Tirek' is laughing ]

(Y/n) smirked, "You've been cursed to suffer for all eternity, watching over people's memories, and watching as time passed by. Isn't that practically torture?"

"I would rather endure the suffering than bow down to a mere mortal."

"Who says anything about bowing down? Surely you're not thinking that I will keep you as a pet? That'd be very foolish indeed. No. . . I wouldn't dream of it."

The Psion turned transparent, the vines wrapping around it earlier has been rendered useless as it just fell on the ground.

Yoo Jonghyuk pointed his blade at the monster who is now unrestricted and is looking at both of them blankly.

"You will not free me in this damned place and make me your familiar if you don't plan on using me to your benefit."

"Of course, that should be a given. After all, if you get out of here. . . a certain goddess would be after my throat. It would only be fair if I get something out of this, no?"

"And besides, you don't want to serve someone who eradicated your entire species, correct?" (Y/n) smirked.

[ The constellation 'Asahi' is glaring at you ]

"What?"

"The goddess that punished you led a war against your kind, slaughtering everyone. You're the last of your species. Surely you wouldn't want to stay serving that wretched goddess?"

"Dead. . ."

"They're all dead?"

[ The constellation 'Serpent of Eden' is looking down sadly ]

[ The constellation 'Princess of Self-Ruin' patted the constellation 'Serpent of Eden's back ]

[ The constellation 'Spirit of Chaos' raises their middle finger at the constellation 'Asahi' ]

[ The constellation 'Tirek' raises both of their middle finger at the constellation 'Asahi' ]

"So. . ." (Y/n) outstretched her hand, placing her blade near her wrist. "What do you say?" She asked.

"On one condition."

"I'm guessing you would want to get revenge?" The Psion hissed in agreement.

"You made the right choice. Don't worry, I will not abuse my power over you. Unlike someone. . ."

"It actually worked?" Yoo Jonghyuk asked himself, (Y/n) heard it and winked at him.

"Now, let us perform a blood oath before freeing you from your suffering."

"Why would we need a blood oath when our souls are going to be entangled with each other?"

"The blood oath isn't for that purpose."

(Y/n) smiled at the Psion like what she's about to say would sound acceptable to the creature's ears.

"I want your power."

"What?!"

"Come on, you can't expect me to summon you everytime. It would take a massive toll on both my energy and magic power. Besides, my body is going to become a vessel for you. . . if I die you will perish, then you wouldn't have your revenge."

The Psion growled, they have never met a human so greedy  but clever.

If the 'master' of a familiar dies, it will also die. However, if the familiar dies, the master will stay alive. Sounds unfair.

"Of course that wouldn't happen if I had your power to keep myself protected. Isn't that right, Jonghyuk?" (Y/n) turned to Yoo Jonghyuk with a bright smile.

He just sighed and nods.

"Fine."

The Psion grumbled, lowering itself so (Y/n) could cut its skin. (Y/n) cut her wrist, it wasn't deep then slashed her sword at the Psion's skin near its gigantic face. It was hella creepy being near a giant serpent's head.

The Psion hissed, (Y/n) realized that the sword she used to cut the Psion was the Yil Iron Sword.

"Shit. My bad." She apologized.

She placed her wrist atop the Psion's fresh cut and muttered the agreement in a hushed voice. It glowed a bright green, indicating that an agreement has been made.

"Now. . ." (Y/n) gripped on the sword buried inside the Psion's neck. . . or chest. . . whatever the hell it is, it's buried in its body.

"This wont hurt—" (Y/n) started pulling the sword out, lending energy and magic power to the creature so it wouldn't die when the sword with the goddess' curse is out of his body.

"Much." The Psion's outcry was heard throughout the entire area.
