Lee Jihye bit the inside of her cheek in order not to make any noise that would awoken the woman in her master's arms.

She was just minding her own business when all of a sudden, Yoo Jonghyuk appears with a passed out (Y/n).

"Master, what happened?" She asked, looking at (Y/n) who is peacefully sleeping.

"She got tired and lost too much energy." Yoo Jonghyuk replied.

Lee Jihye's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. She was stunned.

"What?" Yoo Jonghyuk asked, noticing her expression.

"Did you guys—"

Her statement was cut off by a grunt from (Y/n). "Ugh, my whole body hurts, dammit!"

"Wha—" Lee Jihye glanced between the two repeatedly, then backing away like she was looking at criminals who had just committed a crime.

"What's with her?" (Y/n) asked Yoo Jonghyuk, looking at Lee Jihye who is still backing away, facing them.

"No idea." He replied.

"Uhh. . . you can put me down now." (Y/n) said, Yoo Jonghyuk complied and placed her down the ground gently.

"I am under the impression that you will remain asleep much longer."

"Ahh!! Who was that?!" (Y/n) asked, startled by the voice, she summoned her sword.

"(Y/n). That was the Psion." She blinked twice, her brain not registering the information for a moment before realizing that she took the Psion as her familiar.

"Oh. . . right."

"Do you plan on going back to them?" Yoo Jonghyuk asked.

"Huh?" (Y/n) asked confusedly, everything really is a blur when you just woke up.

"Kim Dokja and the others." She halted, stopped doing whatever she was doing and just stared at the man in front of him.

She nearly forgot about the lying matter. It's obviously clear who's saying the truth since another person confirmed Yoo Jonghyuk's statement.

"That. . ."

"I was wondering if I could stay with you?" (Y/n) cringed, "That sounded weird but you know what I mean."

"Sure. I'm going to need your help anyway."

"Great. Ugh, I'm gonna need an outfit change." (Y/n) looked down at her work clothes, it looks like she was attacked by a fucking bear and barely survived.

"Here." She looked up to Yoo Jonghyuk, holding clothes near her face.

"What?"

"It's yours." He said. (Y/n) hesitantly took it from his hands, hella confused.

"Do you carry this around with you all the time?" She asked, dumbfounded.

"You were supposed to be my companion." He said.

"How did you even know that I'm supposed to be your companion?"

Yoo Jonghyuk thought of a believable lie and came up with. . . "I saw the future."
