"All idols, please head to the stage for a group photo session" the host announced.
You and the girls had an amazing night tonight at the award show after sweeping almost all the awards you guys were nominated in. This year was indeed your group's year after putting a lot of effort into our very first full album.
You came across Jungkook backstage when your group went to receive an award and he congratulated you guys on the big award. Of course, your members and his members knew about your relationship, so did the companies, but only the public didn't know about the relationship as you both know it would only cause chaos.
You two managed to keep it very lowkey or not as obvious to the public but there were fans who were suspicious about you two. There were fans who were already shipping you both based on looks, aura and the vibes you both give. They based it off on short glances during previous award shows, old pictures of you two in school, similar accessories and etc.

Now that almost all the idols are on stage, they all tried to position themselves so that everyone could be seen in the photo. Park Sunhoo, a senior idol who had been involved in sexual harassment scandal stood next to you and he was standing pretty close too.
"Hello, I'm a huge fan of you" he smiled creepily.
"Ah.. thank you so much sunbaenim" you say forcing a smile and quickly changed your attention to your other members who were already looking at you worriedly, but also trying their best not to give any reaction because we know we are being watched and filmed by fan sights.
Before he could continue talking to you, Jungkook interfered and talked to him instead as he was standing next to him. Luckily, his attention diverted to Jungkook and you created more distance between him and you. You glanced over at Jungkook to see him nod at you a little before turning back his attention to the creep.
He knew he couldn't do any more than this to avoid all the media's speculations. This was the least he could do to avoid you from feeling uncomfortable. He would've just pushed him aside and stand next to you but that would cause a lot of chaos in the media.
Once the camera director got the attention of the idols on stage to get ready for the picture to be taken, they stopped chatting and he moved closer to you again. Now he has his hand on your lower back which made you shiver to his touch as your back was exposed due to your outfit. You thought he was only going to have his hand there for awhile to move you closer to the space in front but instead his hand remained and moved lower. Before he could go even lower, he was pulled back by Jungkook. Sunhoo looked annoyed at the disturbance but kept his cool. Jungkook who faked a smile pulled him back away from you, letting his hand fall to his side instead of on your back.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you"Jungkook warned him.
"And who are you to tell me not to?" Sunhoo said, challenging the man.
"I could end your non-existing career just by a sentence about you. So I wouldn't do that" Jungkook said.
Sunhoo just moved away and changed his position, far away from Jungkook and you. Throughout the whole interaction, he tried to make it less obvious that he was protecting you but only to talk to Sunhoo so people won't create a chaos about it.
However, all the fans noticed how uncomfortable you looked when Sunhoo stood next to you. The fancams of you captured your uncomfortable face and fake smile when he interacted with you. The small glance and interaction between you and Jungkook through your glances with each other and the way he nodded at you slightly when he distracted Sunhoo from conversing with you was also noticed by the fans.
Fans also realised when Sunhoo placed his hand on your back and how it started getting lower, and Jungkook was again there to save you from this uncomfortable skinship that you didn't ask for. All the fans were thanking Jungkook for protecting their idol and making you feel comfortable by pulling the creep away. Sunhoo received a lot of hate for his actions that night. The fans were unhappy that he made you uncomfortable. Instead of chaos between ARMY and your fans, it was more of a celebratory surprisingly. Many fans exchanged their thanks and were being really nice about each other.
"Maybe I should tell them how in love I am with you now" Jungkook teased as he watched you scroll through twitter to see what's everyone saying.
You both were cuddling with each other in bed as you both had slept in after last night's events. You hit him playfully, rolling your eyes at him with a smile.
"you're crazy" you say.
"Why not? The fans absolutely love you and love me and they loved our interaction, i'm sure they'll be happy to hear that their wishes are actually already true" he said pulling you closer.
"you know it'll cause more than that" you say.
Jungkook sighed. "I know" he said looking down.
"Hey, it's okay. We'll tell them when the time comes, lets just enjoy our little private relationship now" you said caressing his cheek and placing a soft kiss on his nose.
He gave you a warm smile before reminding how much he loves you before leaning into your neck and snuggling there.
"Are you going to sleep again?" you chuckled.
"MMhmm" he mumbled and soon, you heard his soft snores causing you to smile.
