As soon as you got home, the four of you headed upstairs to your rooms. Bucky was quick to put the vase with sunflowers next to the roses on the coffee table, while you took a moment to put away all of your new books. You were starting to get worried about space, but then remembered you could always start packing away some books to go be at the cabin and that made you feel a little better about the whole situation. Bucky went into the bedroom to start sorting the laundry while you finished with your task, and by the time you were done, you saw that he had already started four piles. You looked curiously to see he had darks, whites and delicates, towels and bedding all separate. You went to the bathroom to get the dirty towels to add to the pile, as well as some of the discarded clothes from the week. You came back and finished emptying the laundry hamper. You bent over and started putting them into different baskets to bring downstairs, and Bucky took a moment to go plug in both of your phones. Once he was done he grabbed your tablet and he stopped you after you finished filling the first basket and handed it to you.
"Pick out the music" he reminded you and you nodded. He put the rest of the laundry into their separate baskets and started piling them. He piled three on top of one another, leaving you with the lightest basket to carry. You quickly put your tablet on top of the basket and picked it up to carry out. Bucky quickly followed behind you, and you toed open the suite door since you both had left it open a crack, and you led the way out.
The two of you hurried downstairs to find the laundry room empty, thankfully, and worked in tandem to fill the washers. Once you were done you pulled up your Spotify account and turned on your love songs at random. "Mirrors" by Justin Timberlake came on, and Bucky didn't give you the chance to sit down. He grabbed your left hand with his right, while his left hand went to your waist and he pulled you in close and he started slow dancing with you in the small room. You leaned your head against his chest and hummed to the melody as he moved at a slow and deliberate pace. Bucky started softly singing the song to you as he moved, and at a few points he put you into a turn. He would always bring you back to him quickly and would hold you close.
"I didn't know you knew this song" you whispered while you were leaning your head on his chest.
"You've played it a few times. I like it" he kissed the top of your head. "I get what he's sayin, it's like looking at the other half of me when I see you"
"You're such a romantic" you giggled, admittedly enjoying it thoroughly.
"Is the future Mrs Barnes complaining?" he asked with a soft chuckle.
"I didn't agree to that," you reminded him.
"You will" he seemed so confident. "And then we are going to fill that cabin with a family," he added quickly.
"Has anyone ever told you that you have astounding confidence?" you asked him.

"Back in the forties" he chuckled. "You are the love of my life, just like he says. What do you want first? A boy or a girl?" He seemed intent on talking about children.
"Is it even a good idea with what Hydra did to me, to have kids?" you asked, feeling a little anxious.
"Of course, I could ask the same thing if we are going to be honest with one another" he pulled back slightly to look at you better.
"I just want healthy babies" you said after a moment's hesitation.
"I want a girl. Maybe we can call her Rebecca, after my sister" he didn't miss a beat.
"What if it's a boy?" you asked curiously.
"Grant" he offered.
"How about Samuel?" you asked with a smile on your face. "Samuel Grant" you added quickly.
"For you doll? I'll do it" he consented. "It's going to go to bird brains head though" he added with a chuckle.
"He was the first one to take me under his wing though" you gave a soft smile. "After Nick of course"
"You are on a first name basis with Fury?" he asked in surprise.
"Aren't you?" you asked curiously.
"I don't think anyone is. I know Tony calls him Nick to get on his nerves though" he shook his head at the memory of the last party he was at with Nick Fury there, and how he had scowled at Tony for it.
"He's a good man. He helps me out all the time when I need Shield to back you guys up. I help him out with little projects, and it keeps him happy. He told me once I could call him Nick after I helped him with a pretty deep cover case before I got into trouble. I can't imagine going back to calling him Fury in emails or to his face" you scrunched your nose at the thought of it.
"I'll leave that to you, I'm going to just call him Director Fury" Bucky held you a little closer. "He must really like you. He had Shield help look for you too. He was pretty mad when you got taken. He kept telling Tony that you were supposed to be safe with him"
"Nick is protective over his agents. In some ways I feel like he hasn't quite let me go yet" you admitted. "But it's a mutually beneficial relationship"
"Do you have any more special project to run for him this week?" he asked with a little hesitation.
"Nope, he just wants us all back on missions again. I've found quite a few new bases and clusters to look into already with the data I've combed through. I was going to talk to Tony about doing a collaboration with Nick again to see if we can look at some of the clusters together. It's going to take the whole team I think," you gave a soft sigh.
"Let's hold off on those as long as possible" Bucky gave your head a kiss again. "I'm not comfortable with the whole team leaving you alone again."
"Next time I'm going into the safe room and I'm not coming out until everyone is back. I'm not foolish enough to let that happen again" you nuzzled into his chest.

After you were done with your laundry, your feet were tired. You had spent most of the time dancing with Bucky, and he had more stamina for it than you thought possible. He hummed to most of the songs on your playlist, or would sing softly to them as he went. When the two of you were folding laundry, you worked in tandem together. He had already zeroed in to the fact that you liked to hang up your delicates, and had left you briefly to go hang it all up in the closet while you folded the whites.
Once you both had all of the laundry put away, you had gone for a quick supper and then headed back upstairs to your room to snuggle on the couch with one another. Bucky had you sit on his lap while you sat sideways and nuzzled into the crook of his neck. You hadn't been reading as long as you had hoped for when a loud knock came at your door and you looked up in surprise as it also woke up the two sleeping cats on the couch.
"Come in?" you called and in walked Sam.
"I've been texting you for over an hour" he said with a bit of a smirk on his face as he walked over and sat down on the well stuffed chair. "I hear music, I thought it was a technology free night?" he started to give some sass.
"We are playing music off the tablet" you giggled. "I told you, Bucky talked me into a phone free night"
"I read that, but I'm still working on believing you actually agreed. The woman that doesn't put down her phone for anything" Sam sat back in his chair.
"Future Mrs Barnes is going to be having more cell phone free nights going forward. We are working on it bird brain" Bucky gave a smirk.
"I didn't agree to that" you reminded him again.
"You will," Sam sighed, seeming resigned to it already.
"You two are very confident" you rolled your eyes.
"No, I know you two. At this rate I'll have little nieces and nephews running around the compound in no time" Sam shrugged.
"She wants them to grow up at the cabin," Bucky corrected him.
"LIke Hell. It's safer here" Sam shook his head. "You should talk these things out with me cuddle bug. I'll tell you what's what"
"I didn't buy the cabin to just look at it" you rolled your eyes again.
"Speaking of, I loved the pictures. I can't wait to see it finished" Sam seemed to be getting a little more animated. "That bathroom is something else. I love how it looked like your tub was out on the porch"
"I love that too, I wanted it that way. Bucky wants me to put in a curtain" you scrunched your nose.
"It's probably a good idea. I mean, you don't want someone watching you take a bath" he thought about it for a moment.
"It's pretty remote," you reminded him. "I'm not worried," you added with a small smile.
"I think it is too soon for you to be saying you ain't worried. The last time you said you weren't worried I ended up coming home to no you" Sam sobered up at your wording.
"I'll put in a curtain" you finally consented. "But I probably won't use it" you added quickly. You looked up at the lights, proud of the fact that your flash of anxiety didn't cause them to flicker that time. You supposed you were getting better after all.
"What were you trying to get a hold of her for?" Bucky brought him back to the original reason that Sam was stopping by.
"I honestly just wanted to shoot the breeze. I just got back from Sarah's an hour ago" Sam shrugged and Bucky grimaced.
"How was your weekend?" you asked quickly.
"It was so good. She spoils me. She made me breakfast every morning, and let me cook supper every night. I made her my famous seafood casserole, and she said I can make it for her again sometime" Sam beamed with pride.
"That sounds promising! You are impressing her already with your mad cooking skills" you giggled. Sam went onto telling you more about his weekend, while you listened with rapt attention. He asked more about the cabin, and you couldn't help but go into small details. Bucky ended up giving even more details, explaining where the nursery room was going to be and the bedrooms for visitors until the children got older. You couldn't help but think he really did have your future planned, and you couldn't help but feel even more in love with him at that moment.
