"Colby, hurry up!" Jenna groaned from downstairs as Colby put his jacket on in our room.
"She's so bossy." Colby said as I nodded. "Gets it from her sister." I said as he shook his head.
"You're far from bossy, sweetheart." He said then brought his hand to my neck, gently squeezing it.
I grinned then raised onto my tiptoes so I could give him a kiss.
"Colby, I'm going to be late." Jenna said from just outside of our door. "I'm coming. Get some patience maybe." Colby said, keeping his eyes on mine.
"Do you want me to give her the talk or do you want to?" I asked as he pulled his hand from my neck.
"Absolutely one hundred percent you give her the talk." He said causing me to laugh. "Protective older sister mode activated." I said then opened the door to reveal Jenna wearing a white flower dress.
It was short but not short enough for me to cause any sort of sink.
"Please can we go?" She asked, looking at Colby. "I gotta talk to you first." I said as she sigh. "Jule, please hurry. I don't want to be late." Jenna said with a frown.
"You won't. Colby is gonna go get the car started while we talk." I said as Colby nodded and took the hint to walk away.
"What do you need to talk to me about?" Jenna asked as I sighed. "Talk and walk." I said then started to go down the hallway.
"I need you to be aware of your surroundings. If you ever feel unsafe you find an employee and you call me immediately. Understand?" I asked as she nodded.
"Yeah, we're just going to the movies Jule. Nothing is gonna happen." She said as I shook my head.
"Anything can happen always. Also if this boy tries to touch you or anything I will personally kill him." I said then opened the front door.
"Have fun." I said as she sighed. "I'm nervous." She said and looked up at me. "I know. It's okay to be nervous. Just be yourself and he'll like you. I'm serious about the touching thing though." I said and pointed to her.
"Alright, I get it. No touching." She said as I pulled my phone out. "Here's my phone. Call Colby if anything happens. He'll be there to get you." I said as she took it.
"Thanks, Jule." She said then hugged me. "You're welcome, Jen. Go before you're late." I said then watched as she turned to go to the car.
It was kinda weird to see her going off on her first date. It just reminded me that my siblings were getting older.
Once she was in the car I sighed and went to find the others.
"Hey, kid." I said, knocking on Carter's door. "Hey." He said then looked up from the sketch book he was drawing in.
"How's it going?" I asked and sat on the bed. "Just glad it's the weekend." He said with a grin.
"Yeah. Do you know the guy Jenna is on a date with?" I asked as he nodded. "Yeah. He's nice." Carter said with a shrug.
"I'm surprised he asked Jenna out because she's a loser." He said causing me to laugh.
"She is not a loser." I said as he nodded. "She reads books. She's a loser." He said as I shrugged.
"People who read are great and they have creativity. Plus Jenna is a cute girl, you should probably agree since you two are twins." I said as he chuckled.
"Faternal twins." He said as I stood up. "Alright, well I'm gonna wrangle the other kids then we can maybe do something fun." I said then went to leave the room.
