We were driving for what felt like forever before shit really started hitting the fan in the car. The twins were constantly fighting which was setting me off.

When I got angry it would make Sam upset and he would start yelling at the twins which would then make Juniper upset.

Colby was trying to keep the peace the best he could but I needed him to just focus on the road. We actually couldn't handle a car accident right now.

"I'm gonna open my door and fling you out!" Carter said as I clenched my jaw.

"ENOUGH!" I screamed causing Juniper to burst into tears. "Look what you did." Jenna said as I looked over at Colby.

"You guys just need to relax, this is getting ridiculous." Colby said as he took the next exit.

"She won't stop touching me. I need my space." Carter said as I shook my head.

"We need to separate you two." I said as Carter grumbled something. "What did you say?" I snapped, turning to look at him so fast that my whole body jolted with pain.

"Nothing." He said as I clenched my jaw.

"No. What did you say?" I asked as Colby chuckled. "Now you did it." He said as Carter sighed. "I said to tie Jenna to the roof." Carter mumbled.

"I'm about to strap you both to the roof at this point." I grumbled and looked forwards as Colby pulled into the gas station parking lot.

"Everyone get out and stretch your legs. You can get snacks or whatever you want. Please for the love of god though, just get away from each other for a minute." Colby said as he put the car in park.

"Sissy, will you help me pick out snacks?" Juniper asked timidly as I nodded and took a deep breath.

I felt bad that I was being an absolute menace, yelling at everyone. I was just so done with the kids fighting.

I knew it was normal for siblings to fight and get on each others nerves but between that and my pregnancy hormones, I was literally going to strangle one of them.

"Of course, love." I said then looked over at Colby. "Meet us inside?" I asked as he nodded. "Take a deep breath and try to reset." He said then leaned over and kissed my cheek.

"I'll try." I said quietly then slowly got out of the car. "Stay in my sight and don't talk to strangers." I said to the three older kids as I took Juniper's hand. They all mumbled their responses as we walked into the gas station.

"What are you thinking?" I asked Juniper as we strolled down the aisles. "Something crunchy." She said as I nodded.

"Okay, then over here." I said and brought her towards the chips.

I could feel the nerves bundling in my chest as my eyes darted between all of my siblings.

Although I knew in the back of my head that there was nobody out to get us, I was so terrified that someone actually was out to get us.

Was there anyone I missed from the gang? Did we make sure they were all dead? Was it actually safe to be living so carefree?

"Jule?" Sam asked as tears fell down my cheeks, my eyes still darting around the room. "Hey..." He said and took my free hand causing me to flinch back.

"I'm gonna go get Colby. Just stay here." Sam said then turned to walk away.

"Sissy, why are you sad? Did I make you sad?" Juniper asked as I shook my head. "No, love." I choked out, trying to fully take in my surroundings.

I noticed a couple guys across the store who were fully minding their business but I was slowly convincing myself that they were going to kill us all.

I patted my pockets, seeing if I had a knife or gun hiding in there. Before I could pull the knife out, Colby was appearing in front of me.
