I spent the next couple days trying to get things together to help Colby.

Obviously I haven't been able to do much since he had everyone watching me and the kids like a hawk.

I've been texting Will, trying to get information which was like pulling teeth since he was afraid of going behind Colby's back again.

I couldn't say I blamed him but I had to remind him that he betrayed me by literally selling my body for sex.

He owed me.

The only information I got was that if I wanted to take this on I would have to go to Seattle. That was the only way I could get ahead in the situation.

I didn't know if I could fully trust him but it was the only option I had at this point.

"What are you doing?" Jenna asked as I stood up and made my way towards the door.

"I'm gonna try and convince Colby to take you guys outside. Your little growing bodies need fresh air." I said as Carter chuckled.

"Good luck with that." He said sarcastically as I nodded. "I'll be fine." I said then went down the hall and towards Colby's office.

"Woah, weird seeing you out and about." Sam said as I nodded. "Yeah, I'm escaping." I said causing him to laugh. "Does Colby know that you're roaming around?" He asked as I shook my head.

"Nope. I'm about to go bother him though so I would hide." I said as he nodded. "Yeah, he hasn't been in the best mood lately." Sam said as I nodded.

"That's an understatement." I said then knocked on Colby's door as Sam quickly made his way to his own office.

"It better be fucking important." Colby growled as he opened the door. "Julia, what are you doing?" He asked as I smiled and waved. "Heyyy..." I said as he narrowed his eyes.

"I know that look." He said as I walked into the room. "I need you to do me a favor." I said as he closed the door.

"What kind of favor?" He asked and crossed his arms. "Please just take the kids outside. I know you're gonna say no, but they need it really really bad." I begged. "Julia.." Colby said with a sigh.

"Please." I said quietly. "Maybe later. I was actually going to come get you in a minute here. I have a little bit of a surprise." He said as I squinted at him.

"A surprise?" I asked as he nodded. "Yeah, not a super fun one but one that may help the stress." He said as I shifted uncomfortably. "What's wrong?" Colby asked as I shook my head.

"Nothing." I said then painted a smile on my face. "You'll think about taking the kids out? Maybe to just get some ice cream or something." I said as he nodded. "I'll think about it." He said then led the way out of the room.

I could tell he was still really stressed out but he wasn't nearly as agitated as before.

I actually caught him in an okay mood today.

We made our way down the hallway until we reached a room that I didn't know if I've ever been in.

When he opened the door, I could see that it was like an infirmary but looked a little different. It looked like a labor and delivery room.

"Oh." I said quietly, taking a step back. "What's wrong?" Colby asked as I looked up at him. "Nothing." I said and shook my head.

Honestly, I was upset because I didn't want to give birth down here.

I didn't want our daughters life to start in such a violent and scary place. I wanted her to be safe though.

"Are you sure?" Colby asked as I nodded. "Yeah. Was this the surprise?" I asked as he shrugged.
