"Let them go." I whispered as Pops hung up the phone.

"Okay, the begging and pleading was charming at first but it's really annoying now." Pops said with a hard expression.

"Make your choice, Juliana." He said lowly as I squinted at him. "You said I have an hour." I argued as he nodded.

"I've said a lot of things I don't mean. Now which is it? Colby or the kids? I'm growing impatient." Pops said as I shook my head.

"I can't just decide something as big as that." I said as he clenched his jaw. "But you could decide to kill your father in an instant?!" He yelled angrily, causing me to flinch at the sudden aggression.

"You can't pick and choose when to be a heartless killer, Juliana! You made your bed now lay in it!" He snapped as my eyes watered.

I didn't know how to respond. I didn't think anything I would say would change the fate of my life.

I was going to have to choose between the love of my life or my sweet brothers and sisters that I cared so much about.

I loved them all and wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing I killed any of them, but I didn't have time to come up with a plan to save both.

I couldn't imagine living without Colby. Knowing that he was the father of the baby in my belly, and the love of my life.

He was the makeshift father of my siblings. They were going to hate me for killing him.

I couldn't kill him.

I couldn't let them kill my siblings though. They were almost like my own children. I raised them and kept them safe for as long as I could.

That was until now.

I had ruined their lives and now I was causing them so much trauma. I couldn't kill them. I couldn't kill any of them.

"That's it. I'm choosing for you." Pops said then grabbed his phone.

I watched in shock as he brought the phone to his ear. "Juliana has made her choice. Kil-" He started causing me to gasp.

"No! Stop!" I begged causing him to stop and look up at me. "Bring me to Colby." I whispered, my heart crumbling to sand.

"Very good." Pops said then hung the phone up and handed me the hand gun on the desk.

"Let's go finish your last job." He said with a tone that made me feel sick to my stomach.

I couldn't believe what I was about to do.

Pops led the way down the hallway as my hands shook violently. There was so much fear coursing through my veins as we got to the door to the room Sam and Colby were trapped in.

The gun in my hand felt like it was a thousand pounds, the metal burning my skin. It was the weapon I was going to have to use to kill the person I loved more than myself.

When the door opened, Colby looked up at me before his eyes flickered to the gun in my hand.

"Tsk tsk tsk, Colby. How does it feel knowing you fell in love with a heartless killer?" Pops asked as Colby's gaze hardened, looking at Pops.

"She's far from a heartless killer." Colby said as my eyes watered. "Funny you say that, considering she's going to be the reason for your demise." Pops said with a chuckle causing Colby to look at me.

There was a look of sadness and fear on his face for only a second before a reassuring look formed on his face.

He knew I had no other choice.
