The next two days were spent scoping out the warehouse that was the base for Snake and Gold.

Jeremy was getting antsy about something but he refused to tell me what.

"I'm going in." I said as Jeremy groaned. "Stop it, Julia. You cannot just go in." He said as I sighed. "We're running out of time." I said with a sigh.

"What do you mean?" Jeremy asked as I closed my eyes.

"I need to get back to get the baby checked out. I can't sit here for days doing nothing." I said as he shook his head then checked his phone.

"We'll go in tomorrow." He said as I narrowed my eyes.

"Who are you talking to?" I asked and tried to look at his phone.

"Nobody. We're done for the day." He said then started the car. "Fine." I said and crossed my arms.

I had a sick feeling that he was talking to Colby and that meant he would be here tomorrow.

I wasn't ready to face Colby if I was being honest. I knew he was going to be angry with me but I also knew he would sacrifice himself for me which is exactly what I didn't want.

After everything I've been through, there was no way I was going to fall back into being a damsel in distress.

I created this problem and I needed to fix it for me and my family.

"Are you gonna stay at base with me or are you gonna go to your hotel?" Jeremy asked as he drove down the road.

"Hotel so you can rat me out to Colby." I said and crossed my arms. "I'm not in contact with Colby." Jeremy said as I breathed a laugh.

"Right." I said then looked out the window. I knew Colby would immediately contact Jeremy so there was no point in hiding it.

Unfortunately for Jeremy, he was going to be in the crossfires of Colby and I.

When we got to Jeremy's base, I got out of the car and immediately started going to my car. "Julia." Jeremy said as I walked away. "What?" I asked as he sighed.

"Get some rest and get some food in you. I know you're stressed, but there's a lot going on that you need to take care of." He said and gestured to my belly.

"I know. Thanks." I said then got in the car. I knew more than everyone that I needed to take care of my baby.

She was my number one priority and I was going to take care of her even if I wasn't necessarily taking care of myself first.

I ended up stopping at McDonalds on the way so I could get some food.

I planned on just staying in the hotel for the night since I was having some pretty bad symptoms today.

My body ached and my stomach was constantly churning.

I didn't know if it was because I was stressed or if it was because something was wrong with the baby.

That was the reason I wanted to just be able to get back and get her checked out.

When I got back to my hotel room, I made sure it was safe then took off the vest that was growing more uncomfortable every day.

"I know." I whispered as the baby kicked and rolled inside of me.

I don't think she liked the pressure that would be on my belly while I was wearing the vest which is why I tried to not wear it for as long as humanly possible.

Taking it off felt amazing though.

After eating I decided to take a shower before calling Jenna. I wanted to check on her and the kids but I knew that just because this was a burner phone, it didn't mean it wasn't trackable.
