The next couple weeks were spent getting settled back into normal life. It was hard getting the kids back in their school schedule.

They obviously missed a lot and there were a lot of questions surrounding that but all I had to say was we were having custody and legal troubles regarding our mother.

The kids would have to work hard in the last couple months of the school year but it wouldn't effect their ability to move up to the next grade next year.

Colby and I were constantly going to doctors appointments for the baby because I was 32 weeks along.

There was only two more months until our daughter would be here.

I would love to have said that I was more excited than anything but at this moment I was overwhelmed.

We didn't have anything set up and it just felt like we haven't enjoyed the pregnancy at all. Before we knew it, it would be all over.

Right now the kids were at school and I Colby and I were shopping for the baby.

"Why do babies need shoes...they can't even walk." Colby said, holding up a little shoe that was big enough for a baby. "Because they're cute. Look at them." I pouted and took them in my hands.

"Do we really need them though, Jules?" He asked as I laughed. "Need them? No. Want them? ....Yes." I said then pouted my lip out.

I was always a sucker for baby clothes and shoes. I knew that practically she wouldn't need shoes but they were so fucking cute and I wanted her to have them.

"Okay, sweetheart." Colby said with a laugh then put the shoes in the basket. "Okay..next on the list...breast pump." I said as he pursed his lips.

"Check and check." He said then gestured to each of his hands then to his mouth.

"Colby Brock." I said sternly but with a laugh. "What?" He asked innocently. "I can't with you." I said then walked towards the breast pumps.

"If you're breastfeeding why do you need this?" He asked as I looked at all of the options.

"Because I'm gonna be making way more milk than the baby will need so I need to pump it out and save it." I explained.

"That makes sense. If the milk stays in there do your boobs explode?" He asked causing me to laugh.

"I don't know if that's possible but it will probably be super uncomfortable. Plus if I pump milk then you can feed her, too." I said with a smile.

"You're so smart. You know that?" Colby asked as I nodded. "Super duper smart." I said then put the pump I wanted into the basket.

"What's next?" Colby asked as I chuckled and grabbed the nipple cream I needed. "Woah Woah Woah...what was that?" He asked and picked it up.

"What do you need nipple cream for?!" He asked as I breathed a laugh. "Breastfeeding is hard on the nips." I said with a shrug.

"We need to pick out a crib and get a car seat." I said as I sighed. I was honestly exhausted from growing and carrying the baby but I wouldn't trade the feeling for the world.

Any time I would feel her move inside of me, I felt closer to her. It was wild that she would soon be here and in our arms.

"Okay, but that's the last thing we're gonna get today. You're tired." Colby said gently, putting his hand on my lower back.

"Yeah, I love shopping for our girl though." I said and put my hand on my belly. "She's kicking away." I said and took his hand, bringing it to my belly.
