"Jule! Can Sam come with us grocery shopping?" Little Sam asked as I finished braiding my hair. "If he wants to. He and Colby might have plans though." I hummed.

"Can I go with them?!" He asked with excitement as I leaned on the counter, putting my hand on my belly.

Adult Sam has been in town for two weeks now and everyone was obsessed with him being here.

Little Sam was clearly the move excited and I couldn't say I blamed him.

Out of all my siblings, Sam was the most sensitive about our dad dying. He felt like he needed a male figure in his life and I couldn't say I blamed him.

Colby was of course able to fill that void, but he always bonded with Sam on a different level.

We were running out of time as far as setting up for the baby went. We had technically four weeks left but it was really crunch time.

She could come at any moment.

"I don't care. Ask Colby." I said with a sigh as Jenna, Carter, and Juniper came into the kitchen.

"Are you all coming with me?" I asked and grabbed my list. "Going where?" Carter asked as I sighed.

"Grocery store. I'm gonna make some dinners for the week in case I go into labor." I said and rubbed my belly gently.

"Oh...well Sam and Colby were thinking about taking us bowling." Carter said as I nodded.

"Sounds more fun than grocery shopping." I said as Sam and Colby came into the room, laughing.

"Oh, hey Jules. I thought you were upstairs napping." Colby said as I shook my head. "Nope. About to go grocery shopping." I said then looked at adult Sam.

"I hear you guys are trying to take the kids bowling?" I asked as he nodded. "If that's okay with you. We'd love for you to come, too." He said with a warm smile.

"I think they would think I'm smuggling a bowling ball under my shirt." I said with a small smile.

"Silly, sissy. You're way bigger than a bowling ball!" Juniper said with a laugh. "Thanks Juniper." I said then looked at the kids.

"Alright then. I guess be good for Sam and Colby." I said and grabbed my keys. "I'm gonna come with you, Jule." Jenna said as I scrunched my brow.

"Really?" I asked as she nodded. "Yeah, I'm not into bowling and someone should be with you in case you pop." She explained as I nodded.

"Valid but you don't have to." I said and grabbed my bag. "I want to." Jenna said with a nod.

"Okay, what did you guys want for dinner?" I asked and looked at everyone.

"Whatever you want to make, sweetheart." Colby said as Juniper shook her head dramatically. "Don't say that! I want sgetti." She said as I nodded.

"I can make sgetti happen." I said as she smiled proudly. "Good." She said then looked at Colby.

"Can we PLEASE go now?" She asked as Colby chuckled. "Yeah, kid. Go get in the car." He said as the kids all filed out.

"Go ahead and get in the car, Jen. I'm just gonna check to see if we have spaghetti noodles." I said and handed her the keys.

"Okay, Jule." She said as I turned to go towards the pantry. "I'll meet you out there." Colby said to Sam causing Sam to leave the room.

"Are you okay with us taking them bowling?" Colby asked and wrapped his arms around me, placing his hands on my belly.

"Yeah, I think it's great." I said and leaned my head back against his chest. "Are you sure?" He asked as I nodded and turned to look at him.

"I'm positive. I'm just tired today and every day." I said with a laugh.
