Colby's POV
"Colby Brock." Will said with confusion as I nodded. "Will." I hummed with an unbothered tone.
"Come in." He said and stepped to the side so Sam and I could walk into the house.
I wouldn't say I was surprised at all to see Will. I obviously knew that I kept him alive, and that he had a lot of information.
Will wasn't a part of the original four but he was in close proximity to Pops and Quill. He was likely to have some information for us.
As we walked through the house I felt my stomach churn, knowing that Will was running a brothel.
Knowing Julia had to stay in a place like this for as long as she did made me feel sick.
Sure, I did some crazy shit but I don't think I could run a brothel.
I knew that from the start but now that I had Julia, Jenna, and Juniper in my life it made me even more against them.
"So...I guess Julia didn't kill you then." Will said as my blood ran cold.
Was Julia here at some point? I couldn't imagine how hard that would have been for her to come back into a brothel.
"Was she here?" I asked as we walked into Will's office. "Yeah, I was honestly shocked to see her." Will said as I tried to keep the anger that was swelling in me down.
I was incredibly pissed off that Julia was subjected to doing things while I was away. I still feel horrible that we were back in LA and that she was back to being hidden away.
I knew that Julia craved normalcy more than anything in the world.
She had spent her whole life taking care of her siblings, being a prisoner to her abusive mother.
Then when she got roped into this world, I held her captive until we fell deeply in love. Then everyone else was after her, holding her hostage to get to me.
We finally escaped for six months, living a normal and boring life until I fucked it all up for us.
Julia deserved better.
"What brings you here today?" Will asked and crossed his arms. "I need some information." I said and sat down. "About?" He asked as I sighed.
"What do you know about the original four?" I asked as he nodded slowly. "You must have visited Max." He said as I nodded.
"I needed to. Julia got herself wrapped up into some dangerous shit and I need to keep her safe." I explained as he nodded.
"Your love for her has always been admirable." He hummed. "You obviously know of Quill and Pops so I assume you're here to learn more about Gold and Snake." Will said as I nodded.
"Specifically Snake." I said as he nodded. "He's the most lethal. Has never been caught and usually doesn't start trouble." Will explained.
"That's why he's called snake. He hides in the grass, doing his thing. It isn't until someone crosses him that he retaliates with enough venom to kill anyone." He explained.
"Julia didn't cross him, did she?" He asked with a hint of fear in his voice. "I think she might have." I said as he nodded with a melancholy look on his face.
"What?" Sam asked as Will shook his head. "You can't help her." He said as I clenched my jaw. "And what do you mean by that?" I asked angrily.
"He's not going to hurt you or come for you because you didn't do him wrong. Julia has to fight this battle." He said as I shook my head.
