By the time Jenna and I got home, I was fully exhausted.

It was annoying because I wanted so badly to be productive and start cooking dinner but I needed to rest.

"I'll put these away later." I mumbled and put the grocery bags on the counter before trudging out of the kitchen.

"I'll put them away, Jules." Jenna said quietly as I left the room.

"Thanks, Jen." I said and made my way up the stairs. Instead of going to my room, I decided to sit in the nursery for a minute.

I haven't spent much time in here because it stressed me out. We had the crib built, the rocking chair set up and we had the room painted but everything else needed to be put together.

I knew we would get it done but the fact I could give birth at any point in the next month was scary.

I sat in the rocking chair and put my hand on my belly, looking around the pale yelllw room. I couldn't wait to sit in here with our baby in my arms.

I loved carrying her on my belly, but I couldn't wait to just meet her.

I rocked in the rocking chair with my hand laid on my belly. I was so tired that I didn't even fell myself drifting off until I was being gently woken up.

"Hmm?" I mumbled as Colby gently caressed my cheek. "Sorry for waking you." He said quietly as I opened my eyes.

"I just wanted to get you moved over to the bed." He said as I shook my head. "I gotta get up. What time is it?" I asked with a yawn. "Only five." He said as I nodded and let him help me stand.

"Oof-" I gasped as the severe urge to pee came over me. "Gonna make it?" Colby asked as I rushed towards the bathroom.

"Fuck you!" I shouted as I made it to the bathroom just in time.

"Hell yeah, babe. I'm proud of you." Colby said as I narrowed my eyes. "If you don't get away from me, I'll stab you." I said with full seriousness.

"Alright, meet me downstairs." He said with a laugh then left the room.

I finished my business then made my way slowly downstairs. I could hear the kids happily playing video games in the living room which warmed my heart.

When I walked into the kitchen I could see Colby standing by the stove. "What are you doing?" I asked as he turned to look at me. "Boiling some water for the spaghetti." He said as I waddled over to him.

"I'm so glad Juniper picked the world's easiest meal." I said and went to go grab the jar of sauce so I could warm it up.

"Yeah, this way I can help you." Colbh said as I smiled. "I appreciate you." I said and leaned against the counter.

"You hurting?" He asked as I nodded. "It's a lot." I said quietly as he started massaging my shoulders and back.

"You're doing so good." Colby hummed as I closed my eyes. "I'm so proud of you." He said gently.

"I love you." I whispered then stood up straight and turned to face him. "I love you, too." He said then gently kissed me.

"Gross." Carter said, causing me to turn and look at him. "If you're gonna lurk, you'll see some stuff you don't want to see." I warned then went to get the stuff that I was going to make for the week.

"When is dinner gonna be ready? I'm starving." Carter said as I shrugged. "I don't know, just gotta cook some pasta so like..fifteen minutes?" I said as he nodded.

"Great. Thanks, Jule." He said then left. "What else are you trying to cook?" Colby asked as he came over to help me unpack stuff.

"Essentials like grilled chicken breast, I was gonna make a soup that can be reheated a couple times. I don't think the baby is gonna come this week but I don't know how much energy I'll have to make dinners." I said then looked over to see Colby looking at me.
