"Are you really leaving us?" Jenna asked as I nodded. "You guys said I should, so I am." I said then finished packing my last minute things like my medication and prenatal vitamins.

"I didn't think you actually would. Juniper and Sam know you're leaving?" She asked as I nodded. "Yeah. They know." I said then looked up at her.

"I'm sorry for everything, Jen." I said quietly.

"I just wish you would have told us sooner." She said as my phone buzzed.

"Hey, are you here?" I asked, answering the phone. "Hi, Jules!" Devyn answered happily.

"Hey, Dev. Long time no talk." I said and sat on the bed. "I know! I can't wait to give you a hug. We're almost there, just wanted to warn you." She said as I nodded.

"Just ring the doorbell when you get here. There's a camera on there so I can make sure it's you." I explained and looked up at Jenna.

"Will do. See you soon!" She said then hung up. "Can you rally the troops? I want to have a family meeting." I said as Jenna nodded.

"Yeah. So you can say your forever goodbyes." She said then left the room before I could respond.

I was afraid that she was right, but I wasn't going to think like that. I had to stay focused and get to the bottom of this.

I wasn't super confident in my abilities to fight in the crime world but as an angry hormonal pregnant lady I had enough rage to execute anyone or anything in my way.

I sighed then grabbed my bag and went downstairs where all the kids were.

"Okay, guys. Corey and Devyn are on the way so I wanted to go over a couple of things." I said and stood in front of them.

"Whatever they say is what you do, no matter how weird it might sound." I said as Juniper stood up and ran to me.

"I'm gonna miss you." She said and hugged me. "I'm gonna miss you too, love. I'm gonna bring your best friend home though, so get excited." I said and crouched down to be eye level with her.

"Promise?" She asked as I smoothed her hair down. "Promise." I said as Jenna scoffed. "Promises mean nothing and you know this." She said causing me to sigh.

"Yeah, well. I'm gonna try my best." I said as the doorbell rang. "Okay, best behavior." I said then went to check to make sure it was actually them.

In the camera I could see not only Devyn and Corey but Nate as well.

"Hey, guys." I said and opened the door. "Julia!" Devyn squealed as she attacked me with a hug. "Oof- hi Dev." I said and hugged her back.

"Ugh, it's been so long since I've seen you! Obviously the circumstances aren't great but you look good! You're glowing!" She said and pulled away from me.

"That's me, just glowing." I said with a sigh then stepped to the side. "It's good to see you, come in." I said as they all filed into the house.

"Hey, Jules. This house is nice." Corey said as I nodded. "Thanks, Colby picked it out." I said then led them towards the living room.

"Guys, this is Corey and Devyn. I don't know if you remember them." I said as they all looked up at us.

"I remember you guys. You used to play legos with me." Sam said as Corey nodded. "Yup. That's me." He said with a grin.

"You guys have grown up so much. The last time I saw you, you were a baby." Devyn said as Juniper shook her head.

"I don't remember you." She said with bland tone. "You were a baby, silly." I said then ruffled her hair.
