"Okay so..."

Jimin unfolded the paper and stared at it attently, reading the instructions that it dictated carefully. She cleared her throat and stood silent for a moment, making sure that Minjeong wasn't at home right at that moment. Because, if Minjeong were at home, she wouldn't know how in the hell she was supposed to explain to her what she was doing right in that moment.

She blinked her eyes and breathed out heavily, before she proceeded to read whatever was written in there.

"...Pee on the stick and wait 2 minutes. Shake it a little if the results are unclear," She muttered, before gulping down and reading again, "...1 line is negative...2 lines positive."

She clutched her eyes tightly together and breathed in, lowering down the stick and aligning it perfectly with her sex as she did her thing.

"...Alright," She sighed, opening her eyes as she brought the stick up, "Just two more minutes."

It was unnerving for her.

Knowing she had to wait two minutes to have an answer.

The result that could come out could change hers and Minjeong's life forever.

If it ever came positive...That would mean she and Minjeong were going to have a baby. A baby. Something created by the both of them, in the intimacy of their love-making. Something physical and real, something that would represent their love way more than anything else.

But it also meant immense trouble for her. Her family didn't even know she was engaged to Minjeong and now, possibly with a baby on the way...She couldn't be sure of how her family would eventually react to such news.

She had been feeling unwell for the past couple days and, even though she thought it could be related to some kind of food poisoning during the University ball, she then thought a little more further into the issue and she just happened to remember that it had been a little less than three weeks since she had lost her virginity to Minjeong, and that they hadn't used protection at all that time because it had been completely unplanned.

She covered the small part of the plastic stick in which the result would be eventually shown, not wanting to take a peek at it so soon. However, she knew time was going by quickly; and that the moment in which she would have to face the result would eventually come.

"...Please be negative...Please be..."

She uncovered the first part of the panel.

1 line.

"...Please..."

No more lines came out.

She blinked eyes, taking in a shaky breath, and shook the stick vigorously.

But the second line just wouldn't show up.

She let her body fall back, taking in short but deep breaths as she kept staring at the stick in her trembling hands.

No matter how much she waited, the second line wouldn't show up.

"...Thank god, " She muttered with a smile, "Thank god."

"Oh...what is this?"

Jimin bit her lip, seeing as Minjeong looked around with a soft smile, obviously impressed with what she was observing right above the eating table of their living room.

Jimin bit her lip and looked up at her with a smile.

She had spent the whole afternoon cooking a special and romantic meal for her fiancé; as Minjeong had been out the whole day because of musical practices in her department at the University. And as she kinda missed her already, even if they had just spent a whole week together, she decided she wanted to show her how much she cared for her so she decided to put all of her efforts into cooking for her.
