Iris woke up to her phone buzzing off the hook the next morning.
"Who keeps calling you?" Rafe groaned from beside her as she rolled over and picked up her phone.
20 missed calls from Sarah.
"Sarah."
"Tell her to fuck off, it's early." He muttered, closing his eyes again.
Just as her phone started to ring again, she picked up.
"Hey-"
"I'm sorry if I woke you, but I needed you to know something-"
"What? What is it?"
"The Chateau burnt down last night."
Iris immediately sat up as Rafe opened his eyes, glancing over at her, "It what?"
"I know. We're all devastated."
"Tell John B I'm sorry. That's awful. What happened?"
"Thanks Iris!" She heard John B yell in the background.
"We have no idea what happened." Sarah sighed, "Listen, Iris, as soon as we are all ready, we can meet at the tarmac and take off. Okay?"
She nodded, "Right."
"She's still coming, right?" JJ asked in the background.
Rafe was trying to listen, but he couldn't make much out.
"I think so." Sarah replied to him, "Right, Iris?"
"Yeah, I don't know, Sarah."
"Please come."
"I'm just not sure."
"Tell her to come to the tarmac and then we can just pull her on board-"
Iris interrupted JJ, "I can hear you, idiot."
"Who are you calling an idiot?" Rafe piped up as Iris hushed him.
"My bad, sorry Campbell."
"Just come meet us, okay?" Sarah asked.
"Fine."
"See you soon?"
"Yeah, Sarah." She huffed, hanging up.
"What happened?"
"Chateau burnt down." Iris said as she laid down again.
"Shitty." He muttered, "And the trip to South America?"
"Still on."
"Going or staying?" He asked, hesitantly.
She looked over at him and shrugged, "I don't know, Rafe."
He pulled her closer to him and she rested her head on his chest, feeling his heart beat steadily.
"Please stay." He whispered, "Stay with me. Okay?"
