INT. REYHAN'S OFFICE - DAY
Reyhan is diligently working at her desk, fully engrossed in her tasks. Her concentration is broken when the office door opens. She hears Emir's voice, and her heart skips a beat. She turns to see Emir standing in her cabin.
Emir wearing his signature charm, addresses her formally.
EMIR
(calmly)
Miss, as we discussed yesterday, I'm here to officially take over my position. All the legal formalities have been completed.
Reyhan listens to Emir, her eyes locked onto him as a mixture of emotions swirl within her.
EMIR
(continuing)
You have time until this evening to collect your belongings. I'm not in a hurry.
With that, Emir exits her cabin, leaving Reyhan in a state of inner turmoil.
INT. OFFICE CORRIDOR - CONTINUOUS
Emir strolls down the office corridor, and his eyes light up as he spots a familiar face. Elif, Reyhan's daughter, stands there. Emir kneels down to her height, wearing a friendly smile.
EMIR
(gently)
Hello, Princess.
Elif's eyes shine with recognition and delight. She throws her tiny arms around Emir, calling him "baba."
ELIF
(happily)
Baba!
Emir, taken aback by this affectionate gesture, looks at Elif with a mixture of confusion and warmth. Reyhan, observing this heartwarming scene from a distance, can't help but feel a surge of emotions.
REYHAN
(whispers to herself)
How beautiful you both look together... Father and daughter.
As Reyhan watches them, her eyes shimmer with unspoken feelings, longing for the family they once were and could be again.
INT. OFFICE CORRIDOR - CONTINUOUS
Reyhan hurries over to where Elif and Emir are standing. She addresses Emir with a somewhat forced composure.
REYHAN
(smiling)
Emir, it's just that Elif is too young to fully understand... well, you know how kids are.
Emir nods, his curiosity evident.
EMIR
(inquisitive)
But why does she keep calling me "baba"? Is there something I should know?
Reyhan hesitates for a moment, her eyes showing a hint of sadness.
REYHAN
(seriously)
Her father has taken a different path, but... I believe he'll find his way back to us soon.
Emir's eyes widen in surprise, clearly affected by Reyhan's words. He seems to be on the verge of asking something else, but Reyhan continues quickly.
REYHAN
(covering)
Oh, and you see, Elif might find a resemblance in your face. That's probably why she calls you that.
Emir seems to accept this explanation, albeit with a hint of confusion.
EMIR
(nods)
Alright, I see. It was nice to meet both of you.
Emir politely bids farewell and leaves, leaving Reyhan and Elif behind. Reyhan watches him go, a mix of emotions in her eyes, carrying the truth locked away in her heart.
CUT TO
INT. HOSPITAL ROOM - DAY
Reyhan and Elif sit anxiously in the hospital room. The DOCTOR, a kind and gentle professional, finishes examining Elif. He then motions Reyhan to step aside for a private conversation.
DOCTOR
(softly)
Reyhan, I wish I could give you better news, but Elif's health is deteriorating rapidly. She has Asplastic Anemia. Her bone marrow isn't producing enough blood cells, and her condition is quite severe.
Reyhan listens, her eyes filled with concern and fear.
DOCTOR
(cont.)
Elif's birth was not like other children's. Your pregnancy had complications, and you decided to proceed, which is why she was born with this disease.
Reyhan nods, tears welling up in her eyes.
REYHAN
(slightly trembling)
Doctor, please, tell me what we can do to save my Elif.
The doctor looks compassionate but serious as he explains.
DOCTOR
(solemnly)
Elif's best chance for survival is a bone marrow transplant. However, as she has no other siblings, we need to test her parents for compatibility. If one of you is a match, we can proceed with the transplant.
Reyhan, without hesitation, makes her decision.
REYHAN
(resolute)
Doctor, I'm ready for the test. Anything to save my daughter.
The doctor nods, understanding the gravity of the situation, and they begin the process to determine if Reyhan or someone else can be Elif's lifesaving donor.
CUT TO
INT. EMIR'S OFFICE - DAY
Emir sits at his desk, looking weary, as Miral enters the room. Miral wears a seductive smile as she approaches him.
MIRAL
(teasing)
Oh, my love, you look exhausted. Let me ease your stress with a soothing head massage.
Miral gently begins to massage Emir's temples, and he closes his eyes, seemingly enjoying the sensation.
Just then, Reyhan enters the office. Her gaze lands on Emir and Miral together, and a pang of jealousy pierces her heart. She watches them from a distance, deep in thought.
REYHAN
(in her mind)
What has Miral made Emir believe? She was involved in Nihan's murder, and yet, she's married to Emir. Something doesn't add up. I need to dig deeper and find out the truth.
Reyhan, determined and suspicious, decides to investigate this matter further.
