The morning rays painted the Cerulean Lake with a golden glow over the newly established settlement. Pax, the one-eyed elder, stood at the heart of the encampment. His weathered face was full of wisdom as he imparted instructions to the members of Fang's group.

His nephew Jex was tasked to set off towards the North. His gaze was fixed on the horizon as he embarked on his mission. Fang, who was the most experienced of them all headed West. Fang was not familiar with the path, but when Pax told him about the dark rocky mountain, he knew where to go. While Cao had to go towards the South. At first, Pax wanted Kael to go, as Cao's female looked like she was about to give birth at any moment, but unfortunately, Kael didn't want to leave Yura. However, after they counted Zhi's due date, Cao agreed to go, even though it would be quite risky for him.

As the trio embarked on their respective journeys, Ling remained behind at the settlement. His presence served as a safeguard against potential threats, and Pax also warned him of the potential threat of him going to the other wolves' clan alone.

Ling is the potential wolf king. If he went to a strange tribe by himself, they wouldn't know if someone with bad thoughts might do to him to seize the throne themselves. To avoid risk, it was better for him to wait here. It was only when the elders arrived and confirmed his status that they could be at ease, and no one would dare to make a sneak attack.

After a few days, just after the group settled in, Yura had recovered!

Yura bowed her head and said with genuine appreciation, "Witchdoctor, I cannot express my gratitude enough. You saved my life. I was certain I wouldn't make it this time, but thanks to you, I am here today,"

Kael was also very grateful to Ren. He had thought that he would lose her forever and had already planned to raise her children as his own. However, faced with a dead end, he realised his own feelings. Now, he didn't plan to lose Yura again.

Ren was an experienced witch doctor, but she looked slightly bewildered by Yura's recovery. "No no no, it was nothing, really," she replied modestly, her eyes reflecting her confusion. "I'm just glad you're feeling better now."

But Yura wouldn't be dissuaded. "No, Madam, you don't understand. Your skill with medicine is unparalleled. You are amazing," she insisted with a sincere tone.

Ren was confused and her brows furrowed, as she only gave Yura a calming medicine. She didn't think Yura would make it, so she only gave her medicine to soothe Yura and ease her pain for her last days.

Ren glanced at her daughter, Hua, who sat nearby and noticed the subtle wink that passed between them. Ren understood that her daughter must do something with the medicine she prepared—probably a secret additional medicine to aid Yura's healing that Hua saw in her vision.

Suppressing a smile, Ren turned back to Yura and nodded graciously. "Don't worry about it, Yura. I'm just grateful to the Beast God that you're well," she said, choosing to accept the undeserved credit to protect her daughter's secret.

As the conversation continued, Ren silently resolved to have a private discussion with Hua later. There was no need to do sneaky things like this when she could just tell her honestly and transparently.

Hua knew that the system's medicine was basically cheating, and she could not rely on it forever. But the situation was pressing, and she had to do something. She quietly asked the system if there were any herbal medicine guides she could purchase. Sooner or later, she needs to improve their people's healthcare anyway.

Later, Pax led Ren, Ling, and Hua to a cavern nestled within the depths of a cave to show them the treasure of the wolf clan that he had been guarding. After a certain depth, the narrow walls turned into a huge cavern with a trickling water sound coming from within. Inside lay a salt mine of significant size. The trio gaped their mouths in awe as they marvelled at its bounty.
