Quiet Dinner

I spent that time before getting ready for dinner reading my book. I got so in to it almost seemed as if Avery and Seth were real people. I looked at the clock and then realized that it was 6! I ran to my bed room and put on a light blue shirt with jeans.

"Annalee we need to get ready", I called.

"Already ready", Annalee said stepping out of my bathroom. She was wearing a pink shirt of mine with jeans and flip flops.

"Great", I said. "Is Mark still in his bedroom?",.

"I have no idea I have not seem him since you have", Annalee said. I walked to his bedroom and opened the door. Mark was in front of his bedroom mirror brushing his hair to one side. He was wearing a tshirt that was dark blue and jeans.

"You guys almost ready?", Mark asked.

"We are ready", I said.

"We have about a hour to get to the restaurant", Mark said.

"okay, are you ready?", I asked.

"Now I am lets go", Mark said following me out of his bedroom. Annalee was sitting on the couch and got up when she saw us.

"Let's go", Mark said turning the door knob and grabbing his keys and phone. We walked out to the parking lot and got in to the car. I had my phone in my pocket and it began to vibrate. I pulled it out and realized in was Matthias called.

"Hello?", I said.

"Hey you guys on your way?", Matthias asked.

"Yup", I said. "We will be there shortly",.

"Great see you then", Matthias said.

"Okay bye", I said ending the call.

"Matthias?", Mark said.

"Yea", I replied.

"We should be there shortly, geez I need to get my hair re dyed", Mark said looking in the car mirror and running a hand through his hair.

"Yea, I liked it when it was kinda orange but not it is blonde", I said.

"I guess I'll be a blonde boy", Mark said starting to laugh.

"Wow Mark", Annalee said grinning. I chuckled. We pulled in to the parking lot of the restraint and jumped out of the car. We walked in and like Mark said a very nice decorated restraint. I spotted Matthias and Amanda and we all joined then at the table.

"Hey Mark", Matthias said fist bumping Mark.

"Hello Matthias, Good evening Amanda", Mark said to Amanda who smiled.

"Hello girls how are you?", Amanda said.

"Good", I said.

"I'm doing fine", Annalee replied.

"Great", Matthias said. "I wanted to see you before you guys leave for your convention in San Deigo...",.

"Well I'm glad we get to see you", Annalee said. A waiter came to our table and I got a Coke, Matthias sweet tea, Amanda Sprite, Mark Coffee, Annalee a Coke. He shook his head that he understood and then left to get the drinks.

"So what have you guys been up to lately?", Mark asked breaking the silence.

"The same old stuff, Amanda does full time photography and I do youtube and we actually went to the beach", Matthias said.

"Cool", Mark said. The waiter brought out our drinks and we sat once again in silence.

"I saw that you got back in to doing your videos, that's cool", Matthias said.

"Yea, I'm glad too, I guess what I was missing I had already been doing... I'm just glad to be back in the swing of things", Mark said. While they were having there super weird conversation. I was busy deciding what to eat until I just decided to eat a spaghetti. Annalee wanted a salad. Dinner went great from there. I talked to Amanda about when I was younger how I was really in to taking pictures of me and some of my friends and family. Annalee got in to a debate with Matthias about which Japanese candy is better. Mark sat quietly eating a meatball sub. After dinner we said goodbye to Matthias and Amanda before we left and began to head home.

"Guys when we get home, straight to bed, tomorrow we have a long car ride ahead", Mark said.

"Okay", we replied. When we got home I put on some sweat pants and a hoodie before completely going through my bag again. After I was done me and Annalee finally went to bed after we had a talk about dinner and how the convention was going to be great. Night guys!
