Wishes Granted

After Ian was done talking to Jck he came out with a grin on his face.

"How was Jack doing Ian?", Mark asked.

"He was fantastic!", Ian said.

"Oh cool", I said.

"Thank you so much Maddie I owe you one", Ian said hugging me. I hugged him back.

"Your more than welcome", I said.

"Where is Ryan and Matt?", Ian asked.

"Ryan and Matt went to the store and went to visit some friends and won't be back till later tonight", Mark said.

"Oh I see", Ian said.

"You want some lunch?", I asked.

"Sure", Ian said. I made Ian a bowl of Mac and cheese and gave my self a second one.

"Dad do you mind if I eat lunch with Ian in my room?", I asked.

"Sure just don't mess the room up", Mark said.

"Thanks dad", I said. We walked back to my bedroom and sat on my bed facing the window leading to the apartment roof.

"Have you ever been on the roof before?", Ian said.

"No", I said.

"Oh", Ian said. "I'm gonna go check it out",.

I did not stop him as he opened the window and crawled onto the roof.

"Whoa this is amazing!?", Ian said.

"Let me see", I said sitting the bowl down and heading on to the roof with him. I got on it forgetting my fear of heights. The root was fenced in with bars so no one could fall. I stood up and looked out and almost screamed. I hatted heights with a capital H! Ian saw right away my fear.

"It's fine it's okay", Ian said coming over to me.

"Okay let's just sit down..", I said sitting about a inch from the window.

"Come on Maddie sit next to me", Ian said. He stuck his hand out which I surprisingly too and I was sitting really close to the edge. I looked out between the roof bars and felt as I could see all of LA!

"Wow this is amazing", I said.

"I use to do this all the time in Georgia and it was at night", Ian said.

"Ian if you don't mind me asking how did you become a foster kid?", I asked.

"Um well me, my mom, and my dad, and my cat, Dave decided to go on a trip to Ohio for a little get away but we took a plane and the plane crashed after 2 minutes of being in the air... There was no one except me and my family an the crew on the plane and I was sitting behind my family and they all died...", Ian said.

"Holy crap!", I said. "I'm so sorry",.

"It's fine I'm over it.... After all of the therapy and of me realizing that what happened was not my fault I was fine", Ian said. "I just try to make the best of it though, what are you going to do?",.

"Wow...", I said.

"Anyway that's why I have loved to watch you and Mark, Jack, Ryan and Matt..", Ian said. "Ever since Daniel died I know it will never be the same",.

"I know", I said. We stayed up on that roof and over the course of time I found out that he loves Pokemon and has a stuffed pikachu and a bunch of Pokemon cards. He told me that he use to play the drums and plays soccer. It was like 6 o'clock and the sun was already gone. We climbed back inside and went to see Mark. He was in the living room watching A cop show.

"What have you too been doing?", Mark asked.

"Nothing really Mark just talking", Ian said.

"Oh okay well Ryan and Matt are bringing back KFC so you guys can hang out longer", Mark said.

"Nope I am just gonna sit on your lap", I said sitting on Marks lap and leaning on his chest. Ian laid on Marks shoulder. We sat like this until Ryan and Matt came home. We spent the rest of the night with the guys. Ryan and Matt watched a movie with us and we just chilled out. After that it was like 10 o clock and we got changed in to pjs and me and Ian went back out on the roof and this time we saw the stars. We grabbed sleeping bags and pillows out there and looked at the stars.

"Best day ever", Ian said in a mumble.

"It gets better", I said. I heard my phone go off so I got up and got it. It was Wade.

"Hey Wade", I said. Ian's eyes grew big.

"Hey how is the new kid?", Wade asked.

"Good good", I said.

"Okay well I just wanted to tell you guys goodnight and I love you", Wade said.

"Love you too Wade",I said.

"Bye", Wade said ending the call.

"Was that Wade?", Ian said.

"Yup", I said.

"Sweet you know before Halloween I wished for one good thing to happen to me and my wish was granted", Ian said.

"Good good", I said.

"Night Maddie", Ian said.

"Night Ian", I said. I close my eyes knowing that my wish was granted a long time ago and my wish is still going on. Night guys!
