Apparently that morning Jack had gotten a call saying that Steve was going to sue him because Jack broke his nose. I found out because I heard Jack laughing so I jumped out of bed and ran down stairs.
"It's not funny Jack you know you can go to jail?", Bob said.
"Wait what?", Jack said.
"Umm yea", Mark said.
"Great", Jack said. "That idiot started it but convincing me to almost loose my child and took my job and sassed me",.
"He said that he will see you in court", Mark said listening to the voice mail on the phone.
"Bob aren't you a lawyer?", Jack said.
"Yea sort of", Bob said.
"You have to help me", Jack said.
"But I suck at being a lawyer", Bob said.
"But you went to school for law", Jack said.
"Fine", Bob said. "But if you end up in jail it's not my fault",.
"Okay", Jack said. "When is the court date?",.
"Tomorrow", Mark said.
"Oh come on", Jack said.
"Exactly that Steve guy will do anything to get you in jail you know?", Wade said.
"I know the thought about you sitting in a prison with murders and thugs is horrible to me", Annalee said.
"Your totally helping", Jack said with a sigh.
"The green hair will help you fit in, pal", Mark said.
"I love how my friends are supporting me", Jack said rolling his eyes. "If I were to be put in jail for how long?",.
"About a week and a half", Bib said.
"You would miss thanksgiving?!", I screamed.
"NOOOO", Jack yelled.
"Awesome", Ryan said .
The rest of the day was filled with Jack crying and getting angry at the world. And it involved him cussing constantly. It killed me to see him like this. He got so angry he pushed Mark in to the pool (pic above). Mark was only trying to calm him down but Mark got angry at him. I felt like none of this would be happiness if we had not gone to that meeting. And never even talk to Steve at all. I stayed up super late because I tried to calm Jack down with Wade and Yami.
"Jack it's gonna get better", I said.
"I know but Steve is just a pain in my butt", Jack said.
I ended up going to bed at 1 am and was scared and unhappy about what happened to Jack.
Like I always say tomorrow is another day.
Authors note: Guys I wanted to tell you that I won't be able to up date this book untill next, next week after the week of thanks giving because of break. I know I know suspense until I get back and I may or may not up date sooner. I'm sorry.
