Yesterday (7/15/2016), I went to a Pokémon event that was held in Grand Rapids. What started as a small group on Facebook, turned into over 2,000 people with news crews. There were so many people and everyone was really friendly. My friends and I drove up there and we stayed for two hours. It's so much fun! They had custom t-shirts that had GR GO on it. I got blue cause Team Mystic <3. The cool part about the t-shirts is that the money went towards lures. (The lures never died I swear) If there is ever a Pokémon event near you go. They are so fun. At one point the teams got into a shouting match. Someone would yell Valor and others would join, then the other teams would try to be louder. It was hilarious.
